I am working on my own texture pack and I am almost done. I have a problem though. I don't know how to make it into a zip file that I can just put in my texturepacks folder in the minecraft folder so that I can select it from other packs. I know how to place the files into the minecraft.jar file but I want to be able to choose it out of other packs, and not use it as my default. If I compress the file I made into a zip and place it in the texturepacks folder, and then run Minecraft, it uses the unknownpack.png, and all the textures are just the default ones. How can I get this to work?
Make sure the textures are in the correct folders and correctly named. Also make sure the you place the files directly in the zip, not in a folder within the zip.

Thanks man! Got it to work now. I had it as a folder within the zip, that was the problem.
