So I've been going at this for a couple days. Essentially what I'm trying to is create a set of double doors that only open when you have 4 specific levers on. That was simple. The hard part is getting the other door to work. As you see in the picture, the door on the right functions just fine but the one of the left doesn't work.
I've tried inverting the left and then connecting it via redstone to the redstone that links that AND gate and the right door. That cause the left to work but the right to no longer work.
Other Problems:
1) I'm also clueless on how to get it so the levers are above ground and the AND gate is out of view along with the rest of the wiring.
2) I don't like which levers are required for the gate to work right now it works when you have it like this:
I want it to work when you have it like this:
(where [black]=on [white]=off)
I have no idea how to position the stones and torches in such a way that it look natural on the surface and work below ground.
3) Final problem: the pressure plate for the left door doesn't work.
1.well...if you put a lever you can put it at ground level, then under the block that it is on can have the redstone. then just dig the rest down...and they wont be underground
2. I dont get what your diagram means
3. There is a redstone torch under your door...
Also, you have to make it so your AND gate goes to both of the levers but inverts on the way to one of them..
1)Wiring is a magical thing.
2)You might have noticed that the switches that are used are the ones that are actually connected to the circuit by a block with a torch on it. Change which ones have blocks with torches on them.
3)the left door is not in any way connected to any circuit. The "ON" signal from the torch under it will override anything you do to it
I'm not sure why you couldn't just hook up the output of your 4 lever setup to a simple circuit. I use it for all my double doors. Here's a series of 5 pics that might explain it better than words. Not my design by a long shot. Not shown is the redstone on the far side but it's just like the one you can see. Replace pressure plates with the output of your 4 lever setup and you should be good-to-go.
