Whenever I try to start Minecraft up, it crashes. Happens in the download AND the browser version. Classic (free) Minecraft still works. This is a recent problem: I've been playing minecraft for a couple of weeks now and it happened today for the first time. I was in the "mods and texture packs" screen. I deleted a file (.zip) in the "textures" folder. It crashed (froze), I tried to restart it, didn't work. I tried restarting my computer, this didn't work either.
My operating system is windows XP, not sure about all the technical BS though.
I'm having a similar issue, except when I try to put in the toomanyitems mod, it won't go past a black screen to the normal Mojang screen to the single and multi-player select screen. Then I have to force an update in order for it to load up, but by doing that, gets rid of the mod I just put in. I was thinking it had something to do with having to delete the META-INF file in order to be able to run the mod, so I tried not deleting it, just to see, and it still wouldn't load up. SO, to get to my point, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to fix this issue and still be able to use my mod? It'd be much appreciated. :happy.gif:
