So, when I boot up Minecraft, I need to resize the window in order to see and play. When I do this, the entire client slows down to a grinding performance. I can't load worlds and mousing over the menu takes a good five to ten seconds before an option is even highlighted. Has anyone else experienced problems like this? What can I do to fix it?
I've tried reinstalling it. I'm running Windows Vista 32-bit.
Hmm, i doubt it is this but what is your PC specs, the things you said lead to me wanting to say "its lag" but on minecraft, you shouldn't ever have that bad of lag.
I built the computer a little over a year ago.
I have an Nvidia 8800GTS and a quadcore running at 2.4GB with 3GB of RAM.
I'm pretty sure it isn't a lag problem. I didn't even start having the problem until recently and I bought the game in September.
Not really sure what it would be, Any chance you changed with some windows/hardware settings around that time? You could also try reinstalling the /minecraft folder. But I somehow think I'm useless as hell here.
