Minecraft works great most of the time, but now it is crashing every few minutes, going to black screen and not responding. Java SE binary says its not working. I have updated Java, and my drivers. My computer has been fully updated. I even reinstalled minecraft. I would send out an error log, but i cannot locate one. Any solutions for this problem, am i alone in this?
I dont know if im supposed to automatically get an errorlog, or search for it, but regardless i cant get one. I can play fine for a few minutes, but then it inevitably crashes. And i do seem to note that it crashes on larger worlds more frequently.
are you forcing java to use more ram by launching the game from a .bat file? Did you MANUALLY locate, download and install x64 java if you have an x64 OS (nothing will AUTOMATICALLY give you the x64 version).

-I always start with the Minecraft.exe file that I have in my c:/minecraft DIR. Well, I use a desktop shortcut to it.
"C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" -Xms2048M -Xmx2048M -jar C:\Path to your Minecraft.jar"
or
"java -Xmx2048m -xms2048 -jar "C:\Your Path To The File\Minecraft.jar"
java... http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
use firefox and make sure you have javaw.exe running not javaw.exe *32 when playing minecraft as that means you don't have or are not forcing it to use x64 java.

I found and installed Java 64bit in addition to the 32bit version I already had, and it seems to have stopped the crashing.
Download the one under Windows that says (64 Bit).
Incidentally, I noticed that in Firefox the page is a bit different (It doesn't show 64bit, but says "offline).
Load up your 64bit Internet Explorer (from your Start Menu) and then go to the link I have above and the 64bit version should show for download.

If it helps I've been getting this:

-I used the Nineniteinstaller for Java (http://ninite.com/)
