When I first entered the nether everything was great. No slow downs at all. After about the 3rd time entering the nether I lost fps, reaching about .3 frames per second. Returning to the outside world returns frame rates back to normal. FPS plummets again when entering the nether.
Tried setting java affinity and priority. Set ingame options to low. Set ingame options to peaceful. Tried running Minecraft from the Minecraft.exe. Turned off sound. .minecraft folder is excluded from virus scan.
When I'm in the Nether my java console spams error messages:
