You need to find out what GPU you have.... then install drivers... From that picture I can tell NOTHING other than you HAVE NO DRIVERS for a Pentium II running windows 95 with a modified theme.
~~~Edit~~~
Toshiba Satellite A105-S4201, On the site checking their drivers, none specifically mentioning video card drivers. Could you possibly point me in the proper direction?
/scarcasm.... You didn't state anything but a picture saying "N/A".... so people should magically guess the exact manufacturer and model and give you the link?
figuring out what you have would be a starting point....
"Toshiba Satellite A105-S4201" Sorry, its late and had a long day.
Graphics9
• Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 with 8MB-128MB dynamically
allocated shared graphics memory
yet the driver page has one for intel, ati and nvidia.... Guessing your's is the intel. though the only XP driver they have is for the nvidia card...
Care to show me where? Im at the device driver page (http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais ... 1073768663) and dont see any with the title you mentioned. All drivers seem Vista related... if you list the date it gives for the driver i'd be able to find it.
and you said you are running XP... so you might have an nvidia... note the XP nvidia driver, which means you need to go to nvidia.com afterwords and update from there.
Sorry to say, but the install for nvidia said no compatible drivers. If you can think of anything I may be doing wrong I would love to know, you've been very helpful and quick responding. Really need the help, but I have a section test tomorrow andneed to get to sleep, Im sorry I cant give any more feedback but would love to continue this tomorrow if you still want to assist. Thankyou for what you've done so far in the meantime.
That's a CPU... GPU's don't have a "ghz" the same way a CPU does anyways. Also no you cannot "swap" a gpu from another laptop.. the GPU is the motherboard, it's part of it 99% of the time.
And don't PM people for support. Make your OWN thread with FULL information. Much easier on everyone to give and receive help being able to easily see what has been done before and have only ONE person's info being dealt with.
having NO drivers installed ... yes that would be a problem... Until you find out your hardware and get drivers on no you can't use the graphics card. Try using a CD that came with the laptop for drivers or contact the manufacturer.
...and what about it... buy a real GPU, or go find your drivers as they are from 1982. What are you asking for, you didnt post any real info or even your OS.
Well i can not play minecraft after updating to windows 7. The problem says "Bad drivers" this topic stated to post those 2 pieces of information and "patiently wait for a reply" sorry but i am confused
ACtually its a Toshiba Windows XP, I think I may need to look for the drivers based on my system model number (http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssu ... dlmfgr.htm)
