Hello MinecraftForum community!
I would be interested in a sponsor to help me host a PvP server.
My Idea: Is to create a more stable version of Badlion thats also a bit
more new player friendly. My server would have 2 main attractions.
Practice PvP (1v1's), and Practice UHC's, basically more new player
friendly pvp games.
Anti-cheat: This parts unique. Instead of having the usual small server approach
with Co-Owners, Admins, then the other positions, I'll have atleast 10 helpers with the
permissions to kick, ban and mute.
Server Name: I plan on making something pretty basic and simple.
So far no names have come to mind so I plan on calling the server
what it basically is, Practice PvP
What I Want:
I want a place for new players to go to practice and improve their
pvp skills while at the same time, being in a competitive environment.
I also believe that the requirements for hosting a server like this will be
extremely demanding. I'm not expecting something extremely big,
however 5GB or more would be nice.
What You Get:
Lets be honest, sponsoring someone like this is usually a waste of time and
money as the hosts usually don't get too much back. Here's my plan on how you
will get something back.
I will start advertising the server on my YT and Twitch. I will also add ranks however,
they will not give players actual game-play advantages but instead some neat perks
like cosmetics. All donations and purchases will go to you guys. I'm also a Graphic Artist and
I would be more than happy to help whoever hosts for me with graphic design and since I know
HTML, CSS, and Ruby, I'll be able to help whoever helps host my server with any web problems I
have. I'm enrolled in computer science currently so I'm actively getting a better knowledge of JS and
will be able to configure the server well.
What sets me apart:
One of the reasons I think many servers don't succeed is because they don't have solid ideas
and they don't have solid ads, or ways to reach the audience you're trying to get. Since I'm a graphic designer,
what sets me apart from others is the ability to create custom designs, and banners to help promote
my server.
