What's the specs for their hardware? Is there a test server? Thanks.
Hi,
I like how you're actually looking into what each host offers objectively and asking good questions-
We're based in the US and should meet all your spec requirements, we use Intel E5-1650v3 CPUs for our Minecraft nodes. We operate our own network and should have low enough ping to Australia but you didn't list a specific latency. A consistent 160ms from a central US datacenter is what I would expect though, I can provide a test IP if you PM me.

My contact at the provider we mainly use now said Australia is somewhat optimised and with more Minecraft usage data from Australia they can attempt to optimise it further. The distance is always going to be a factor, sadly I can't geographically move two countries together haha (smart joke?) but we can always try and optimise it for performance to be in mind. Feel free to send me a message with ping results to our test server so we can get some figures of just your latency, and how are you finding it in-game?
Actually it's ok, the ping is not that bad. From hosting in Dallas I get around 220ms, which is the same ping I get from some other providers hosting in Phoenix/Los Angeles. Hitting mobs/players, and breaking and collecting blocks you can notice the delay though. Other than that it's ok.
If you wanted to start a community around the server too, we offer free 30-day Buycraft Premium, free 30-day Minecraft Market Premium(A Buycraft alternative) and free 45-day Enjin Advanced. But, what's a server without a website, right? You can't use Enjin or anything without a website, so we offer free 5GB cPanel hosting with all of our Minecraft plans You still need to buy a domain, however that is cheap through us or a retailer such as GoDaddy. It looks more professional with an email such as [email protected] rather than [email protected], which is provided in the cPanel we offer
It's great how you're comparing every single offer individually rather than just thinking, "Hey, this one looks good, I'll go with that!". It's great to us hosting providers when a customer does his research and thinks thoroughly before making a decision Hope you find the right server!

While that's true, it's good to have the hosting around once Enjin is upgraded. As a server grows, most will switch to a better solution such as Xenforo, which does require self hosting. It's there for you as your server grows
I personally think that Enjin is overused. The layout is just the same. If you want to create a successful server you'd want to create a custom website to draw people's attention. Enjin is just plain.
Melbourne, Australia. But I just want to find a server around the US that provides low latency to EU and Australian players. As well as good hardware to cope with all the world edit stress and plugins.

Hello Keppto,
Couldn't agree more, but we offer it free for 45 days to give new servers a good software to start with, as they can always use another solution such as Xenforo when they expand
It wouldn't be my personal preference either, but it's easy to setup, so a lot of people tend to like it. My main problem with it is the limitations, in both what you can do and also that you have no control over your data. Enjin's problems are your problems. If you use a physical DC, that's one less factor to worry about, then you only need to worry about someone getting past all layers of DC security. It definitely serves a purpose though, it's a successful website builder for gaming. A discussion for later, though
I opened up a ticket on your website over 24 hours ago, and still no reply. :|
Hi there Keppto, not sure if you're still searching for a host. If you are, be sure to check us out as well. We've been around for over a year, providing reliable high performance hosting since the start. All servers run Intel Xeon E3-1245v2 processors. They have a high clock speed which is important for a single threaded application like Minecraft. Right now our only location available is Montreal, Canada. For reference, this is right on the border of New York. If you have any questions regarding our service, just hop on live chat or shoot us a ticket.
Yeah, ticket system is down. We've advised customers to email us while we fix that. We have some additional integrations in WHMCS and one is pending maintenance.

That's some nice hardware. I love the idea of the Minecraft Cloud. It seems awesome. The design of your site looks cool too.

cPanel hosting seems nice. Wouldn't have to go through all the trouble of finding other websites who have no clue on what Minecraft is.

All these server hosts are so hard to choose from. MinersPlanet, Mchost or ExileServers. Good hardware, support, and latency

I can offer you $4/GB with 40GBps DDos protection. http://bit-sizedhosting.cf
I like the layout to your website. The design is nice.
Alright then.
For support, do you have live chat, or have any plans?
I like when server hosters have live chat. It's awesome. Only problem is. The location.
Forgive me if I missed it, but is there a certain location you're looking for?
Regards,
Dylan H.
Dylan,
He lives in Australia, so he wanted a location relatively close to Australia but in the U.S. so his players get good ping. Glad I could help
