Mods, please do not lock this thread as I wish to use it for those of us who are currently using Hexic Hosting to communicate. This thread is not intended to try to solve any Hexic Hosting issues.
It appears that Hexic Hosting is either experiencing technical difficulties or are offline and down as they have been unreachable for nearly a week now. I have tried their e-mail address ([email protected]) only to have it returned as undelivered.
Despite being unreachable, their servers are still up and running but the Minecraft panel for the server is also not up and running.
If any of you out there are also using Hexic, please update this thread with any new information concerning Hexic Hosting.
I too have been having issues. I cannot get in contact with them via phone (disconnected), webticket (down), website(down), or email (undeliverable).. They have been posting on here since the issues started. I PMed the guy, but there hasn't been any answer.
Sounds like the whole dedicated is gone... I remember last year a hosting company did this. Took the money and ran.
It happens quite often actually.. So many small "companies" that have no idea what they're doing. They either run with the money or can't withstand the test of time and burn up.
Sorry to hear about the losses of your worlds and files
Is there a list somewhere of more established/reliable hosting companies? My kids are gonna be upset if we lose our current world.

The ones on the Minecraft Hosting section are all "tested for time" before they are approved to post there. However that doesn't means all small starting companies are bad.

These hosts have to be approved by this beast, All hosters in the Minecraft Hosting section have proved themselves to be thriving and legitimate businesses that won't get into the situation that Hexic is in.
I don't know how hosters can die out like that. I started this because I was trying to pay some of the server bill of my own dedi. As lons as you dont right out go buy 5 servers you should be fine... especially when most of the guys I see on the forum use OVH and its only, what, $70/Month?

For the most part at least, ShardGaming was an approved host and shut down instantly so you really never know!
I came here to make this post as well. Please, if anyone has any idea how to back up and save your world please let me know. I really would hate to lose everything. I don't know what to do.
Having the same issues hopefully the recurring billing will stop :/
Recurring billing is through PayPal if you paid through them. You will need to check your account and remove the automatic payments. Additionally you can file a chargeback if your money was sent to them after they shut down.

Judging by the fact that they disappeared it is incredibly unlikely that you will get your data back. This is why people suggest backing up your data often, and not storing it on the same server, or with the same company.
There is no way for anyone to access their servers once they are offline.

Thank you for the support even though you have nothing to do with this problem

Not saying that this is the case here, as I don't know for certain, but it is definitely a possibility.

Indeed, people just jump in some host never fail to make me laugh.
If you want to make a hosting business you need to be prepared for the worst you can just expect $500 in your first month.

Hexichost, please let us back up our worlds at least!
If it helps at all, paypal payment was sent to Lawron Hodge (Non-US Verified), and the IPs to their site were 192.187.98.187 198.204.245.42

See the above two things.
