Anyone else have a higher framerate? I'm getting about 100-200 more frames than normal, and this is on amplified. Hopefully this sticks with 1.7 because I'm liking it.

List of new features/etc I've found in this snapshot so far:
Taiga biome updated (More hilly, no snow or it's a variable, haven't explored)
AMPLIFIED worldgen option (increases generation height to 255~, does not require as beefy a computer as you think)
Improved FPS (better than 1.5.1 changes); Upwards of 100% gains on my previous 1.6.2 settings, can run on normal render now with the same performance as 1.6.2 (used to be tiny)
Much faster loading time for world startup (generation performance increased)
Options list updated, more customizable sound options (Friendly/hostile/weather/master/etc volume bars)
Updated sounds; punching stone/ore in creative makes a much more pleasing sound imo (will update as I find more)
"Super secret options" button; does not serve function yet (please, someone break the code and find out)
Possibly changed textures for flowing/standing water, leaves (oak, specifically)
New biomes (some unconfirmed, others with screenshots in thread. Look there)
Default generating biome changed from Ocean to Forest (hopefully that means that they fixed the 'ocean world' generation bug, or at least replaced it with the survivable forest)
Generation lighting bugs much less prominent/99.9% nonexistant (at least true in AMPLIFIED setting)
Many new items! List:
-New enchantments (Luck of the Sea, Luring for rods)
-Multiple new fish (Salmon cookable)
-New plant life (Rose bush, tall grass/fern/etc, many flowers)
-New potion (Water-breathing, recipe unknown but I suspect it requires one or more of the new fish)
-Packed ice (cannot craft with 2x2/3x3 crafting recipe using regular ice, probably harvested in a new biome or traditional ice plains/whatever)
Will update as I go through things. Next step is checking out dungeons, pyramids, temples and strongholds.
BUG LIST:
-Slowed/normal camera options/F-key options not working. Not sure which key it is (F4?), do not press it in the snapshot. You cannot reset the camera speed from the slowed mode.

There is now a total of 6 fish starting left to right: Raw Fish, Clownfish, Pufferfish, Raw Salmon, Cooked Salmon, Cooked Fish.
