That's it? I was expecting them to be, you know, slightly creepy? They just look like normal houses now. I'll try to organize my thoughts with bullet points.
They don't look creepy at all.
They are made entirely of wood. No variety.
There is no loot inside them at all. Why kill the Witch?
Witches are 3 blocks high counting their hats. Huts are only 2 blocks high...
They are frankly not big enough. If I was a witch, I would want something a little bigger...
As you can see, the crafting table and Cauldrons are floating off the floor.
Witches use potions to fight you, yet no Brewing Stands in them?
I was also kind of hoping maybe they would have cats in them, but nope. (I know, might be added later).
Witch Huts need a lot of change in the next update. They are horrible right now.
Here are my responses in the same order as your bullet points.
-It does look like a hut that can be placed above water or on land and don't stand out too much from a slightly elevated view.
-It looks like dank, water saturated wood that one could expect from a swamp hermit. Personally, it somewhat reminds me of Tia Dalma's hut from the Pirates of the Carribean franchise.
-The witch attacks you? Witches drop loot, though I do like the idea of having random mob heads (not wither skeleton obviously) in a few places and in a chest.
-If it was too big, it would somewhat interfere with the idea that witches are an outcast villager. Though having the building be 3 blocks tall would make it easier to see inside the cauldron
-Why can't a witch have floating furniture?
-As others have stated, a brewing stand would be kind of overpowered. The way I see it, the witch magically produces potions through the cauldron and mushrooms.
It wouldn't take much to spruce them up. Raise up the ceiling a block or two, add some vines and cobwebs to the structure, giving it a round of ole' bug fixing and they're mostly good to go. Random loot along the lines of empty bottles or low-powered potions wouldn't be half-bad either, although loot certainly can wait for the time being.
I still think that witch huts should have : Chest with a witch hat(Just a hat will not make the game a TF2) and some magical loot(Yea, i want to be a mage), Mob Heads and cats(Not normal cats, special witch cats).

I was really awaiting the addition of Witch Huts the past 2 weeks. And I can safely say now, with the current design, I am very dissapointed. Just look inside them.

1. Please explain how you'd make a hut look "creepy". Build a better hut or I'll consider you a hates-everything-even-though-he-can't-do-better-loser-moron. Like the majority of rage posts.
2. What else would you expect it to be made of? Iron blocks?
3. Witch drops potions. Also, cauldron. Do you NEED a reason to kill the witch? Is it really so important to you to have a motive to murder and rob every living thing you see? See you on death-row, psycho. o_O
4. Okay. Good point.
5. You really don't know anything about European/American witchcraft lore, the history of witchcraft in Europe/America, or anything outside of your own head, do you? Witches were/are outcasts, driven from society and considered lucky if they found an abandoned shack to sleep in.
6. Now that's just plain stupid. They are clearly attached to the walls. :/
7. And you want free brewing stands too? If there WAS a brewing stand you'd no doubt have written that bullet as "ZOMGBBQ FREE BREWING STANDS MAKE THE GAME TOO EASY".
8. Has there been confirmation that there were no cats? For that matter there aren't even any witches in the huts. Conclusion: Witches will never spawn in huts.
9. It is sad that you can sit there and complain about 100% optional and relatively rare things, yet cannot come up with any coherent suggestion as to how it can be improved.
CONCLUSIONS:
1. You are just looking for something to whine about because you want attention.
-or-
2. You are too dim to realize that you could just ignore the huts and witches entirely and they'd have no effect on you at all.
Regardless, behold my signature and watch as your ignorance is made obvious!

You're kind of dimwitted if you think this is the final outcome of the Witch Hut, they released it so you knew it was coming, they're far from done. Please don't make another post like this..it's silly.

First of all, stop being a **** please. Now secondly, I'll take the time to respond to these things.
1. I'm not going to waste anymore time building a creepy witch. They should just give it webs, vines, heads etc.
2. Oh I don't know? Cobblestone? Types of Stone Bricks?
3. Yeah, because 5 pieces of cobblestone and 2-3 potion supplies is SUCH a great reward for finding a witch hut.
5. Why should I care at all about what society says about Witches exactly? They should have larger rooms then 3x2...
6. Who is their right mind would design a cauldron where the top is touching the ceiling so you can't get it.
7. Yeah, 1 blaze rod is probably way to overrpowered of a reward.
8. Actually, dinnerbone said that cats or witches on broomsticks would be added eventually. Cats are much more likely.
9. Want a suggestion? Make Witches a harder mob to beat. So then once you kill them and get into the hut you get a couple of small treats.
1. Look, if you're hear to complain about me complaining about a currently bad feature, you're not making a good arguement.
2. Was attempting to insult my intelligence really nessasary?
Now that there are witches, I think Nether fortresses need a new prize to motivate the player to go to them; the witch's hut is clearly the better place to find a brewing stand.
And yeah, this first effort should be refined. You know what'd be a good little knickknack? If you get into the hut, you can find a witch's hat in a chest, or sitting on a table. You can wear it on your head, to look stylish. That would imbue the place with some value for a large number of people right there.

Make note: I generally avoid being insulting. If I sound insulting, I'm probably joking.

^ I like the way this guy thinks.

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
Stupid 3D..
