Why are your own pictures blocked, but not external ones?
Oh that's funny, looks like they forgot to add their own domain to the white list.
Right now they are only letting through images from some of the larger public image hosting sites.

Key word being "some." Photobucket isn't allowed, apparently.
Ok I've been pondering a compromise.
Why not make it so that if you click the "Caution" link it replaces that link with the embedded image tag?
It would have almost the same effect but would be much less disruptive of image heavy threads. (Especially for those of us who don't use public image host sites.)
At the very least put a target="_blank" in the link so that it opens the image in a new window/tab.

kinda annoying...mine are coming up with the warning for my download links instead of the thumbnail and they are hosted on 4shared. not even an image site >.>
I swear this is the second time this has happened. Damn russian spambots.
Your going to add a Captcha now to the signup?
We always have done, we've also had email verification for months. This isn't bots, it's malicious users.
Or at least the users are there when they create the account. It doesn't take too much work to have someone sit behind a computer screen and enter captchas.
criticsquid, I already told you how to fix this, why don't you just fix it?
Only his devs can fix it. Also, why does everyone have to typo his name? It's citricsquid.
Well, unfortunately, until things start shaping up around here, I'll just call him criticsquad... not as intentional flaming, but it's how I've grown accustomed to.
What, are we gonna start warning for incorrect spelling of people's name now? Is this going to turn into a proper english or gtfo forum? no-one wants that!

Konami Code on Minecraft... wouldn't that just kill Creepers on the spot? [SSSS]
Also, images are gone, but I didn't have to worry much... none were on my sig. Others have different opinions...
Uh, can't you have a blacklist instead of a whitelist? It'd be easier (and less annoying) to simply block any phishing links instead of having to allow every other site.
And if you're going to stick with the whitelist, can you please put http://www.deviantart.com/ on the whitelist?

Yeah, blacklist would be waaay better.
Also, imgur.com
Edit: Oh, stupid me. Imgur is whitelisted.
Uh, but I can back up the blacklist idea. That would be better, so if it gets happened and reported again you can just blacklist that site

Yeah, it's barely worked over the last couple of months. I really love getting an email as soon as a subscribed thread gets a reply. I'm guessing it isn't working because there is too much traffic for the site to handle.
yes i have been wondering that too?

How can I make my signature/ images work again instead of "Extenral image!!"

Would you kindly put my site on the list?
http://www.thefool76.com
I'm not too proud to beg.
(I really don't want to be bothered with a public image host when I already pay for my own hosting.)
Could you whitelist BBcode from that? Minecrafters eggs will die without the help of McForums

It's Extvia!
