Personally I like the makeshift tables and chairs. Yes, I'd prefer actual ones, but I'm happy with these. At least my house isn't quite so empty anymore.
their not cutting corners quit saying that a table block would have 0 purpose period there not cutting anything because they are planning on doing it in the first place you can place a cake on EVERYTHING right now would you sacrfice that option for only a table?
I wouldn't it would make cake even less useful then it already is so adding such would be a complete waste of time rather have more reason to want a cake because right now cake is the most useless food in the game currently because it is the most expensive in terms of resources and doesn't satisfy as much as beef/chicken/soup/pork/anything else and can't be carried.
Alright, next time I'm working on a brick mailbox I'll put a stick in the ground with a bucket on top of it. I'll say it's a temporary mailbox and then come back to it years later. We'll see how satisfied the owner will be because that's the same crap Mojang pulled. You either do it right, or don't do it at all.
