Join a random server and meet new people. Do something you've never done before in game. I usually take a break for a few weeks so the game seems refreshing when I get back.

Use the pirate language pack.
Live on an island.
Live off of fish.
Go out in the ocean and go mineshaft diving.
Create a notebox music loop under your island.
Use fire resist potions in the nether and swim around.
This, the point of a game is to give you something to do when your bored. If it isn't fixing your bordness you can stop and go outside and meet new people.
"Science isn't a matter of WHY, it's a matter of WHY NOT? WHY is so much of our science dangerous? Why don't you marry safe science if you love it so much? In fact, why don't you invent a special safety door that won't slam you in the butt on your way out? BECAUSE YOU ARE FIRED!" -Cave Johnson
I can understand getting bored with it, I was getting bored, but then I discovered adventure maps, and my interest got picked up again. I'd recommend searching youtube for adventure maps videos and if you see one that strikes your fancy, then try to find it here and dl it.
My simplest of suggestions, is quite simple. Play something else.
Why? It's just Writers Block. You can slam your head off it for days and days, and still get no where, or simply take a break, do something else, and wait till inspiration (in this case, the urge) to play again hits you. It's natural for you to get bored of something no matter how much you love it, if you do it/play it too much!
While people bash Terraria, it is a decent alternative to Minecraft if you still wish the blocky fun, and have a friend or two to play with. Alone, it is kind of meh though. :tongue.gif:

I hope Jeb realizes how boring minecraft really is on its own and adds stuff like more ores, more MOBs, etc
