Today I've been playing Minecraft, and it all of a sudden has become somewhat boring. I think things should be a bit more common. Mabye diamonds up a tiny...tiny bit. Mushroom biomes could be far more common. More than one stronghold in one world etc.
Once again, diamonds are common if you have a descent strategy.
I've never seen a mushroom biome, but I don't explore too often either.
There's 3 strongholds.

Hmm ok. Well then 2 of my points are true. Mushroom biomes certainly should occur more. And I think strongholds should be randomly generated, not just a certain amount of them.

Didn't the recent version of Minecraft remove the Stronghold limit?
Tbh, at least 1 stronghold can always be located easy, get ender-eyes and throw them, will lead you to one with a portal.
On mushroom biomes being rare; see it as a reward for exploring. This way, other forms of playstyle also have a sort of endgoal.
Rare things keep a game interesting, if you could see all & do all from start, it would take away alot of incentive to play.
Hmm okay, I understand your point. But there's a middle between a reward for exploring and getting extremely bored of searching for everything. I think it pushes to the second one too much.
Diamons aren't that rare, imo it's rare enough, and strongholds are supposed to be found by throwing ender eyes. But I agree that cocoa beans and mushroom biomes are way too rare.

Diamonds are rare even if you have a decent strategy, i have a good strategy and even after months of digging i only have like 4 blocks of diamond.
infinite strongholds.
Diamonds are easy by branch mining.
Mushroom biomes should not be more common as its infinite food.
Yeah, because I can't just walk over and kill a couple skellies and make my own shroom trees...
Hence why we shouldn't be allowed to make them with bonemeal, but there's another thread for that.

Every world I make I find a diamond vein simply getting to the right elevation before I even start my real mining. I usually find 25-35 diamond with 5 iron picks. Does not take long whatsoever unless you happened to find lavafest.
some things need to be more rare. I think apples need to be more rare. strongholds need to be infinate. but VERY rare. mushrooms need to be rarer again. like not omg i found a mushroom this is my first one after playing for a month rare. more like. omg i found a mushroom after mining for a while and done a little exploring rare. seeing as once you have one then you get unlimited. diamonds have a nice rarity in my opinion. Your not ment to have stacks of it anyway.
Thats what i think though. >.> Also it would be nice to find a melon around once in a while. like not like pumpkin patches. like one or two a little more rare then pumpkins.
Well, I made a new map and was searching for a mountain biome. I ended up having to travel in the ocean. I'm at 12km and no land.
Is land rare? Is Minecraft 1 huge island? I miss the old generator.
I thought it was terrible. A massive land mass with interconnect lakes is just silly.
You could also re-roll your world. lolreroll
If people don't like oceans why do they live on earth?
More on topic:
Apples should drop at 1/100 not 1/200.

If you use a bowl on a mooshroom you get mushroom soup.
