This is supposed to be a simple thread , a poll with options like . 1/10 2/10 , etc.
Leave your rating in the poll, comment why this score , and then if you want ( in a spoiler ) a more detailed review of minecraft if you really think that you should share your thoughts.
Im giving it a 8/10 , is a very good game , it has its flaws , but minecraft is totally unique and i like it a lot.
I was gonna say this thread is redundant but it actually has a poll.
It's biased for me to rate Minecraft simply because if a game is worth my time it has to be a fantastic game. lol
I consider it a 7. It's fun but a number of features are either incomplete or missing.

I voted 9/10 because months on, and I'm still playing on a fairly consistant basis. Not to mention that I'm not really a PC gamer, I prefer handhelds for the portability (not getting the pocket edition because this is one of the few games I'm not willing to sacrifice functionality and performance for portability), which must count for something. Hell, I've joined the forum as well! The reason I've not given this a perfect ten is that it's very buggy, still, and there's still a chance something will come along that will completely tear me away from this game. So, yeah, one of the best. At least that isn't likely to ever change.

I totally share your opinion , im glad to see there are still users that love and care about minecraft.
8/10 IMO. Minecraft is overrated, but still a great game none the less. Worth the time and money I spent on it. I could argue it is worth more than I paid actually.
I gave it a 10/10, not because it is a perfect example of coding, but because of the entertainment value it's had for me. Games are supposed to be entertaining and as games get more complex, bugs are just an inevitability. It's actually kind of funny that people seem to hold Minecraft, an indy game programmed primarily by two people, at a higher standard than games that get released by major software developers like Bethesda. Odd how Bethesda can get away with releasing game after game that are buggy, unplayable messes at launch, yet still rake in 10/10 scores from players and review sites, yet people expect all aspects of a quirky indy title to be absolutely perfect even during the alpha and beta stages.

I completely agree with everything you said. Minecraft has meant a lot to many people, and a game that can remain this wildly popular even while spending years in open alpha/beta stages deserves recognition.
I got Portal 2 in April, loved it, and stopped playing it after about two months.
I got Minecraft in June, loved it, and have been playing it for about six months now, and will most likely keep playing for years to come.
To me, that's what separates a 9/10 from a 10/10.

...in a manner depriving me of an inertial reference frame.
People DO complain about bugs. Read through this thread and you'll see a few. And you seem to have completely missed the point. People hold Minecraft to a higher standard despite the fact that their budget and development team are both a fraction of what your average Bethesda title runs. Bethesda's games go beyond being simply buggy to being outright unplayable at launch with quests that don't work, hard crashes that force players to reboot their systems every five minutes, and a host of other complications that wouldn't be tolerated in Minecraft. What makes it worse is that Bethesda doesn't claim that their initial releases are intended to be beta tests to fix the copious bugs and game breaking flaws, but that's exactly what they do. The Minecraft developers were at least honest about their release and said every step of the way that even given an official release, the game would still be in development.
And your post is a perfect example of what I'm talking about regarding people's expectations being too high. You start out putting down Minecraft because it doesn't have the level of writing, AI, sound or graphics that you find in the average multi-million dollar major studio release from Bethesda. You're judging Minecraft based on what a full studio with dozens of programmers, artists, and writers can do and STILL giving the studio the benefit of the doubt while chastising the indie developer for not meeting that standard.

There are some who come to this forum to watch the drama. What better a way to stir up drama than to place a vote on 'worst game ever'.
Can i know the reasons of why you consider this game the worst of all times?

I said i voted 8/10 , i never said 10/10 , i know most people are voting that , but please read the thread before making this kind of acussations.
Because then it would be a biased poll.
