So since snow is back, has anyone found a snowy mountain seed yet? I remember these in 1.7-ish and they were amazing! Now in 1.0.0 all I ever find is like a massive snow field with small hills.

I believe snowy mountains are unique to the 1.7 and below gen. Now, any mountains you find will be part of a "mountain biome".

They are no snowy mountains. Just snow plains/Tundra.
BTW: Wrong Forum.
Ok heres my spin on this its impossible to get a mountain in a snow biome and if you are strictly just a minecraft player you will find my info pointless but i am a veteran when it comes to mcedit. what you can do is find an elaborate mountain and mcedit it into a snow biome, done. now if your not you can gamble but this also requires some technical know how.what you do is go into either 1.8, 1.7, or earlier by switching bins, i will not explain how you do this as there is much info on the web on this topic. after you have generated your mountains you then take a gamble and cross your fingers and update. maybe if your just lucky enough you will be in a snow biome. hope this helped and if not im sorry.
I started a new world in 1.0.0, the seed "Panda" I think it was spawns you in a snow biome with a chasm infront of you too with a spawner at the bottom.

Where snow biome meets mountains, there's sometimes enough overlap to half-cover even very high mountains with snow. But I have never seen it encompass an entire mountain of any size.
Look in the northwest sector of this seed for a good example: Sanctuary
Biomes are unique from each other. There is no way to get a snowy mountain unless you were to downgrade to 1.7.3 or to downgrade to 1.8 then upgrade to 1.0.0 and if your lucky, the mountain biome will change into a winter biome but the mountains will stay the same. Just wait for it to snow and it will be covered in snow

the seed "Magic" no quotations and a capital M. I used this seed back in 1.3 through today and it was my favorite and when i used it in 1.9/1.0 it was so much cooler and it was snow biome on a mountain. its still my favorite today.
Even with the biome system, it is possible to have a mountain at least half covered in snow. Mountains are generated structures that appear only in the mountain biome. However, generated structures can be at the boundary between biomes. If someone were to find a seed that was somewhere at the boundary between the tundra and mountain biome, it's possible that the mountain will be half in the tundra. For example, it is somewhat common to find a border between the swamp or desert biome, and the mountain biome. Sometimes the different color of the grass and trees of the swamp/desert will go all the way to the top. At the top, it will likely come across an odd-looking border between biomes. A similar event is when you might find a swamp tree (which can only occur in that biome) on the border of another biome, and it's leaves are multiple colors. Look at this picture: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/File:Threebiometree.jpg It is possible for the tundra to intersect in this way with a mountain biome. But there is yet to find a seed.

Mountains and Snow form in diffrent biomes- Your only chance is to have a mountain next to a snow biome but thats really rare, but i can sold your problem. Use a mod that i think is called: Elevated Hight (not sure) to turn a snow biome into a mountain-snow biome. In that mod you can chose what elevation you want- Chose over 200 atleast, it is amazing. Hope this helped.

He ment the second snapshot, which is 11w48a. It adds snow to taiga biomes (pine forest)

MY world has part of a mountain biome with snow on it, only because the mountain biome is right next to the restored taiga biome.
