2 buckets of water, 2 buckets of lava, 4 stacks of cobblestone, 2 stacks of snow blocks, 1 stack of pumpkins, 1 stack of beef, a stack of wood, a stack of torches, in addition to enchanted weapons and armor.
Build infinite water source and place buckets of water around. Build 1x4 tall towers behind the water spills, place golems on towers. Build base inside around the infinite source. Build chest, workbench, place another couple golems on roof, then work on a path away from the base, lining with water, to a tower of obsidian for dragon fighting.
Step 1:
Put TNT everywhere, wait for a good few endermen to pickup.
Step 2:
Collect the remaining TNT.
Step 3:
Put redstone torches everywhere.
Step 4:
Stay a safe distance.
Step 5:
Now... We Wait!
xD
my plan was to simply bring two buckets of water and cover the entire freaking island, then scout out their caves... but yours is fun too.
cant wait till mcedit supports the end... allow me to actually leave the place.
Well dragon is kinda hard to defeat.... It goes through all blocks (including water and lava).
Hard to hit with sword and good archer needed... Its very powerful so be careful... hehehehe
They don't fly through obsidian. Those big towers are a design feature for a reason. Cobble steps up the side, water from the top so I always have a way back up. Get a nice platform and can potentially tunnel into it for cover. Lava is only in that case that it does anything to hurt the dragon.
Don't need a good archer... That's why you have snowmen. They may not do much damage, but they might be able to stun or knock back so I can get a shot off, or merely draw attention.
Nope... Snowmen on a tower with some sort of kill mechanism below can be pretty darn effective at knocking things around, making them angry, and in general not wanting to kill the player. Snowmen vs endermen, on pillars surrounded by water means an enderman who can only teleport to watery death. I also suspect that they'll have additional effectiveness once someone points out that snowballs = frozen water. But against a dragon... The benefit is mostly agro control so that you can attack with sword while it obliterates frosty.

Make a moat around my well-lit base. Make a melon/wheat farm and a chicken pen for food, while making a cobblestone generator and a tree farm to get unlimited materials. After spending a few days building up a sizeable base, I'll fashion my home in a way that makes killing endermen easy, so I can farm their exp and pearls. Here, I'll see if I can max out my armor and weapon enchants before I go take on the dragon.
Did I mention my army of Creepers?

Adjusting based on dragon behavior.
Take them to THE END then the battle begin

Not the best idea ever. I went creative, collected a group of Endermen, set a TNT down... and they stole it before I could set it off. :sad.gif:
