Swords:
Sharpness I - Increases attack strength, does green particle effect (shown in screenshot I posted)
Smite I - Increases attack strength on zombies
Knockback I - Knocks back mobs when struck, like when they are hit while sprinting.
Okay, so MORE bookcases == HIGHER level, it's not just bookcases == higher levels. I just surrounded my table completely and found a level 40 enchantment.
EDIT: Level 41 sword, Sharpness IV, Looting III.
I can confirm this is true. I have 2 different enchantment tables in 2 different rooms.

Oh my god, how powerful is that thing and how does the looting enchantment work!
So if we have to die to get out of the new realm, don't we lose all of our items? What's the point of going there? Please add the answer to the op, if there is a way to teleport our items to the real world or sth. like that..
Jeb just tweeted this: "The exit from the End is the end :wink.gif: And then you respawn..."
Am I to assume this means that once you get to the End, you can't leave without dying? If that's true, then what the hell is the point of ever going there if it means you have to wipe your inventory if you want to get back to the main world?
EDIT: he then tweeted "The End is not completed yet"
If it's incomplete such that you have to die to leave it, it should NOT have been put into the game yet. This is exactly the reason I've been avoiding Minecraft until these incremental updates are done.
Sigh...these are pre-releases that are released in order to fix bugs before the 18th with new content. If you don't want to deal with problems such as this, then play 1.8 or wait till the release date in November.

If you go to "The End", that is it. It's....the end. XD You will lose everything and have to start over. Obviously "The End" is incomplete and I am sure that A LOT more stuff will be added to make it "worth it" to go there for "The End". n.n There is not legitimate reason for this, because it is what it is. And there is not a way to teleport your items to the original world.
Im just leaving the enchantments at "?" because it clearly keeps increasing. Though, I would assume that it would stop at an even number...50, 60, 70...ect. Who knows. :tongue.gif:
I was able to make a instant health potion. Then I used gunpowder on them to make them splash instant health potions. I damaged myself, threw one up in the air and when it landed on my face, healed me for 3 hearts!

Did we know that light levels affect the available levels? If I put eight torches on the ground surrounding the table, I can only get an iron pickaxe to level 5. If I remove all the torches, I can get up to level 31.

I'm positive light doesn't.
Surrounded one with light, no bookshelves and the highest I got was like 5
For the leaving the ender issues... are we sure you can't build a nether portal in the ender, travel to the nether, build another portal in the nether to get back to the main world?

He tweeted yesterday this sometimes happens on the seed generator. It has happened in the past altering the seed code for other seeds.

Uh, it's very powerful. And looting has a chance to have them drop more stuff. For instance I can get a skeleton to drop me 4 arrows and 3 bones.
AWESOME.
