- First and foremost, it's incredibly slow, far slower than the old forum. I'd usually be willing to let this go, but waiting 30+ seconds for a forum to open is absolutely ridiculous with Curse's size and resources.
- New UI with the pastel colors is not only ugly, it's bordering on unusable. Simple tasks like opening the most recent post in a thread are far more difficult because that was changed for some reason.
- Hard line breaks are utterly screwed.
- Changing of topic status images for absolutely no reason. The new icons both don't fit with the previous Minecraft theme of the forum and are borderline indecipherable on their own.
- The time requirement between posts is absolutely unacceptable for a member like me of over 1.5 years and 6000 posts, assuming it's a spam filter or whatever. If it isn't, it's just a stupid feature and should be removed.
- Avatars are now far smaller for some reason. Dunno if this was intended or not, but it's really not welcome.
- Breadcrumb navigation is inconsistent in some places.
- Profiles just look far uglier. Even more than one would expect them to be with the new UI.
- Editing is screwier now, what with the bastardization of the WYSIWYG editor and quotes, among other things (there is absolutely no reason the icons have to be THAT small)
- "Reply" button is completely redundant compared to "Quote".
- Why is the hyperlink editor so inconsistent with the rest of the UI style? (It's even uglier.)
- Apparently no way to view reputation? Edit: Now that there's actually a WAY to view reputation (uh, thanks? Kinda late there) you can't view who gave the rep from the profile view, forcing you to track down every single post to find this out. Edit 2: which is even more exasperating because there's also no way to go to individual posts from that menu. And if it's in a tiny UI element that 95% of people will miss, no, that doesn't count as including that feature.
- Not really a complaint, but the "3 Mins Reading Time" quoted for the forum rules is vastly exaggerated for most readers.
- New quoting system is so broken it literally took me 5 minutes to respond to a post. Attributes posts to people that didn't make them, among other things.
- You can't view thread polls now apparently, only vote and then change your vote.
Lois: Together we can do anything: face any foe, overcome any obstacle.
Peter: Yeah, climb any mountain, rent any video, dial any phone. And not just our phone, Lois, other people's phones. Decent phones, God-fearing phones, phones that everybody else gave up on, but we knew better because we were a team!
Brian: What the hell are you talking about?
I'm not experiencing your suggested level of slowness (in fact the software is much faster). Do you have an example page that loads extremely slow for you?
Same thing with the breadcrumbs, links to examples would be helpful
Avatar sizes are smaller I would assume because the large avatars were never really "meant to be" on the old ipb software. The current size constraints are plenty for an avatar, it isn't made to be a banner.

When I was editing the original topic in Forum Discussion, the "Forum" section (parent of Forum Discussion) was missing from the breadcrumb navigation menu.
Also, why the hell is this in Feedback Archive and not Cobalt Feedback? It hasn't been "addressed" in any way besides a few points from Rogue which comprise less than HALF the post.
h3>How do I access "My Content" and "New Content"?An improved "New Content" system has been added to the forum which encompasses both "New Content" and "My Content". To access "My Content" use the "Welcome, {username}!" dropdown, this will take you to the "New Content" page configured to show all of the threads you've posted in, to access "New Content" directly use the "Tools" drop down in any forum section.
I agree with this, I much prefer the old system. Definitely much slower and longer loading then it was earlier, and the new icons and such don't fit the Minecraft theme.
On your profile there is a giant "Reputation" tab (just like on IPB)
If you are referring to individual posts, just click the green number and it will show you a list of everyone who "liked" your post
Can't believe that was finally added Can finally see what posts I got rep for
We've had this feature for at least a year
Really? I've always been told that you can't see what content got rep. Strange.
It was a little wonky, it showed the 5 most current posts you received rep for based on when the post was made. So if you got rep on a post, but there were 5 newer posts you got rep on previously, the new one wouldn't show. I don't know if this new system functions in the same manner (but I hope not)
What I want to know is why they're censoring the word 's**' as though it's somehow a naughty word? Cmon guys, seriously? It's a word to describe what parts you have between your legs and to describe copulation, which is something pretty much all multicellular animals on the planet partake in. No child is going to have their 'innocence' ruined by reading that word.

I completely agree I prefer the old theme much more, the top of the page looks better, but below that? It looks terrible in my opinion. Also why were the avatars made smaller? I liked when it allowed more space, it's something that not that many forums choose to have, it made it unique. Also along with the whole theme, where your avatar, and post count are displayed etc. looks so much worse... I preferred the old one, this one doesn't have those user tag images anymore for premium, mod etc. either. It just feels like everything is so dull... nothing's vibrant.
I also have no idea why website loading is so much slower now, some pages won't even load for some reason.
Edit: And why does it take so damn long to post something?
I agree with most of this, but I mainly want to underscore the first bullet. The performance I'm experiencing is much worse than the average over the last few days and months. About 26 seconds to refresh the topic index in a given forum. This took a couple seconds before, on a bad day.
Edit: Going to ammend what I said. Suddenly the forum is performing on par with the old IP.Board. The 26 seconds thing wasn't a one-off incident, but I'll wait longer to see if things settled out.

How is complaining about missing and broken features fearing change?

Mods I Develop: Garden Stuff -- Storage Drawers -- Hunger Strike
Tools I Develop: NBTExplorer -- Substrate
And why is the frikin enter does so many spaces.
You made the top look duller, more boring, and frankly, more crappier.
also the the posts looked more elegant before they got the frikin "upgrade"
