2) Mixing Common and a "Royal" bee you may also find yourself a depleted offspring.
3) Breading a Depleted bee and a different "Royal" bee may yield a magical offspring.
4) When playing with magical bees they can become tainted.

What do they produce:
They produce crystal shard and combs.
The crystal shards can be combined in an infuser with some magical wax to get 2 vis crystals.
What are the magical capsules used for?
They are crafted by putting 3 magical wax into an infuser.
They have to be filled in the forestry bottler, but they hold 5 buckets worth of liquids.
This was almost exactly what I wanted. I think it would be cool if you could find a way to power engines/create a new one powered by Vis. You could put the Vis in a can, and then chuck it in the Vis Engine. This would allow you to use Forestry and such without Buildcraft.

Already exists; Its called the Thaumic Generator, and it takes in Vis, putting it out as (your choice) IC2 EU, RedPower Amps, or Buildcraft MJs .... Think its a Lost Discovery ...
Are you going to add a way to get shimmerleaf, and other non-renuable resources. They should be difficult to get being they do not respawn regularly. I am very excited to try this add-on Florastar's video a while back has had me going crazy. Great idea and I am glad to see your download on the Forestry Add-ons section. Good lookin' out by Sengir and wonderful job by Punknium.
Then why is there a "Content Packs" section in the first place? That is the proper section, so that is where it goes. Just because you think it would get more attention somewhere else doesn't mean you put it in a different location than it is supposed to be.

Anyway, I installed the mod and I think it's a great idea. Just too bad I didn't find any hives yet! I'll go hunt for one now.
Amazing, I hope you have plans on creating evolutions to each branch. Perhaps the final tier of each bee element has a small chance to produce a crystal of the same type. It would be pretty cool if the bees changed the Aura rating, just slightly though as not to be overpowered. Do the Taint Bees have a chance of producing tainted ground around them? Maybe having higher tier Tainted Bees need some glowing taintweed as a flower. Also I really can't wait for the portable vis capsules!
I would normally have a massive spew of ideas but it is very late, instead only a small spew of ideas . I will try to think of something better tommorow.
Keeps the ideas coming, I'm open to any ideas. Currently there is no way in the Thaumcraft api to change the Aura. Currently the tainted bees cant taint the ground, but I might add that. The portable vis capsules are coming soon. (maybe even in the next update)
Amazing, I really like the way you did this. I verily agree with Withmyself64, however, it's not very easy to obtain tainted flowers so maybe tainted bees in apiaries would change adjacent flowers into taint flowers? Is the royal branch the noble branch you are referring to? Noble etc?

Currently it uses about 20 item ids and no block ids. All ids can be changed in the config.
