So I just wanted to share a few weapon packs for Heuristix's gun mod. The first is a russian special forcespack it contains four different guns: Russian Special Forces Pack
Makarov(suppressed). A silent killer containing a special 10 round magazine, low power, low recoil, and a short and extremely quite gunshot. This is currently in use all around Russia and is a necessary sidearm for any special forces operation.
AS-Val: An integrally suppressed rifle. It fires the high performance 9x39mm round. It has a relatively low recoil, medium damage, long range, high rate of fire, and a 20 round magazine. It is an amazing rifle for stealth operations, since it has the ability to drop a target at relatively far distances and engage targets at close ranges as well and still staying silent.
PKM: Louder then many other weapons this MMG fires the 7.62x54mmr round. It has a decent rate of fire, medium damage, and a relatively far range. Although it might not be ideal for stealth operations with a two hundred round magazine and firing the large 7.62x54mm round its a great backupgun and can mow down targets at multiple ranges.
Saiga 12: A beast like no other. It has a 20 round magazine that hold devastating 12 gauge rounds. Unlike many other shotguns the Saiga 12 fires fully automatic. It is effective only at close ranges. It has a low rate of fire and its high recoil makes it just about impossible to unload a full magazine in one burst.
VSS-Vintorez: Basically a AS-Val with a scope, and wooden furniture. Although it uses the same round as the AS-Val for balancing purposes I have made it only expect the 9x39 AP(armor piercing) as an explanation for having longer ranges, higher power, and higher recoil. It uses the A.C.O.G. optic, but I have made my own optic(a PKS-07) to replace the A.C.O.G. which you will soon be able to download. You can find footage of this scope here
MP7: A PDW that holds 20 rounds of 4.6mm ammo, it has low power, high rate of fire, and low recoil. This PDW is designed for close range encounters and as a last purposegun.
Honey Badger: A SBR that is designed to defeat rifles like the M4/M16 and submachine guns like the mp5. It is compact making it easy to conceal. The 6" barrel is integrally suppressed helping make it a perfect weapon for covert operations. It has a high rate of fire, medium damage, and decent range. It fires the 300 AAC round thats ballistics are almost identical to the 7.62x39mm of the legendary AK 47 in a smaller package.
M240: A modern 7.62 Nato light machine-gun. It has been adopted by the U.S. Marines. It has a low rate of fire, high power, and low recoil. With its hundred round belt it can utterly destroy any target within its extensive range.
Benelli M104: A modern combat shotgun. It is semi automatic and has a very low recoil. With only six rounds it can only engage a limited amount of targets but its twelve gauge rounds will make sure any targets engaged will be taken out.
L129a1: The L129A1 was adopted for use by British Army sharpshooters in response to experience in Afghanistan. Although not trained to the same standards as snipers, these personnel can engage distant targets beyond the capabilities of ordinary infantry assault rifles. It has low recoil, it is semi automatic, and has a sniper scope for long range kills.
Although it bears a corny name, this weaponpack is definitely one of the coolest Ive ever made. With ten guns from three different time periods it is by far the most diverse and interesting I've ever made. Sadly because of the multitude of weapons I have decided to shorten the descriptions.
WWII Era:
De Lisle: One of the three guns shown off in the teaser the De Lisle is a European carbine that was built to fire the .45 ACP cartridge with a Lee-Enfield type bolt action. It is also integrally suppressed making it perfect for close quarters combat. It is best used for urban warfare.
StG 44: Also Known as the MP-44 the StG-44 is one of the earliest assault rifles ever made. It was a German madegun firing at an average rate of fire, with decent range, devastating power, and a controllable recoil.
PPSH-41: One of Russia's most famous weapons. It is a sub-machinegun made for close quarters encounters only, but with its tremendous rate of fire and 71 round drum magazine, no enemy is safe no matter how much armour they might be wearing.
Vietnam war/Cold war Era:
M14: A rifle that can be fired at longer ranges thanks to its .308 round, and is also capable of sustained fully automatic fire. Its twenty round magazine limits its encounters, but if used correctly it is able to devastate any number of troops.
M16A1: The good old "sweet sixteen". Firing at a high rate of fire, plus its extremely soft recoil this assault rifle can soften up any target at any time. The only drawback being that your limited to 20 round magazines.
RPG7: One of the Soviets most devastating weapons. A lightweight and accurate weapon capable of firing 85mm projectiles at long ranges. This is the nightmare of all infantry, armor, and rotary wing aircraft.
Modern Era:
Anzio: A longe range sniper that fires the high explosive 20mm round. To sum it up, It looks kinda like your shooting bears strapped with Jihad vests at your target...
AUG: A bullpup rifle that has a built in 4x optic. It has a somewhat controllable recoil, average range, and average damage. A very balanced weapon.
M4A1 SOPMOD: (WARNING you will not get the full experience from thisgun unless you use the custom A.C.O.G. sight I made for it that gives you a night vision lens, yes it really works. Download: http://adf.ly/8W12F ) A standard m4 outfitted with a forward vertical grip, suppressor, A.C.O.G. sight, and a night vision optic in front of that.
XM25: A semi automatic 25mm grenade launcher outfitted with a 3x sniper type scope... 'nuff said.
Mini-Hecate: A long range sniper. It has a 30x optic, and fires the massive .338 Lapua magnum round.
Barret M107: Outfitted with Armour piercing rounds this sniper can penetrate through most soft materials.
Lol I wouldn't expect someone else had the idea of a XM25 CDTE, lol we have made the same thing sir, but mine and yours are quite different, I am not saying I had the idea first many people could of had the same idea so I am not flaming you, nice pack I must say. Good work on the guns.

Thanks for checking this out and if you have any request please do ask.
how do i install them? or is there some obvious way i am overlooking.sorry bout' that. first post and all. Don't know how to do it properly.
still, how do i install the packs?
In your .minecraft there should be a heuristix folder, you place the guns in the pack there(not the folder). If you don't have the mod check out heuristix's gun mod thread.
I downloaded the Modern Era and there's some problems. The Barrett's bullets are explosive, and some items have no pics in the item selection like the 5.56. I hope it gets fixed cuz you did a really good job.

Ah yes the Barrett is loaded with API(armour piercing incendiary) so it can destroy about one block of dirt and other softer forms of cover. Also Im working on the textures right now so some of them aren't finished.
