I've been doing graphics for a year, but only with GIMP. I have things that are better than this, but I lost them all in some old forums that shut down.
Edit - Fixed that line down there and made the render blend in a bit more. Just a little hint, this is my first smudging in over 6 months. >.<
Also fixed the little patch on the face. Didn't see that until I looked at it closely
Best tag I've see so far on these forums (which is kinda sad tbh.) The bottom right of the stock is blended oddly and isn't good at all.
The lighting is a bit too white and it distracts a bit from the focal.
The right side of the stock/render totally kills it though. It just changes too suddenly and my eye is stuck on it.
Wow, very good! I've used gimp before, but I've never managed to create something that beautiful. The only thing that I'm not fond of in this piece is the text, it seems a bit out of place where it is.
The thing that kills the tag is how the colors are so washed out. Kills it completely. The bar thing on the bottom that you set to overlay or something is pretty odd as well. The text should be on the right side of the focal instead of the left; too much empty space otherwise.
Nice smudging though. Wish you would've done something special though.
Ah yes, I didn't notice the thing on the bottom right. As Dusky said, the text and bottom right.. object.. are the only flaws in this piece. Still, nicely done.

I like having the colors monotone. I don't do these for other people, just for my enjoyment. :\ Also, my smudging ****ing sucks. It's not good. :ohmy.gif:

There's a difference between monotone and washed out colors. If you wanted monotone, maybe gradient maps (don't know if they call it that in GIMP, never used it) would've been better.

And it's better than mine :tongue.gif:
It actually is monotone. The colours may be washed out, but it gives it a one colour look. Gradient maps are gradient maps in GIMP. >.< My smudging is horribly off, and I haven't even touched the smudge tool until the other day in a few months.

I usually visit forums that have people that have been doing graphics for at least 2+ years. >.< Yeah, I fixed the blending, just forget to upload.
It's a self-rendered stock. >.< I render my own things.

The text sorta kills it, but the right side of the render/stock as said before kills it
