I place myself at 6, simply because most average people I see are terrible artists.
Although apparently people think I'm around the 7 range. I suppose I'm too hard on myself over it, but considering I never practice it is no wonder I never developed this.
Wow, really? The absolute last person to judge how skilled a person is, is themselves. But hey, to play this silly game, I rate myself a 1/10. Also, this belongs in general off topic.
At the end of the day it's the chair I trust
The cushion is comfy and the works don't rust
With a straight line of vision to my Elvis bust
Watch the kingdom, eat the bread crust

I recognise that I have a natural affinity to it. But I never developed my skills much and thus I'm not an expert. If I were to take into account only my own opinions of my work, excluding other's opinions and disregarding the average persons artistic ability, I'd rate myself much lower. It is higher for the fact that I see most people are not very good at drawing and I have been compimented for my drawings many times. In fact, every Wednesday I have psychology, I usually get there really early because of buses. So I draw on the whiteboard, a little picture. I even got a compliment off another student in a completely different class to mine XD
I tend to draw something that everyone would appreciate in those circumstances, a cartoon something. I've done goblins, Cupid, Super Mario, some scary face thing XD and uh... an old chinese guy which I added some 'wise' words under - though I don't think anyone really understood the joke...

At least the smart people got it (3 people, one of them was the teacher and the other was me).
If you think you suck at drawing, I suggest you read "drawing on the right side of the brain". Surprisingly, it works really well.
Anywho, not to sound cocky, but I'd give myself a 7.

HλLF A LIFE
(My works: Art, Music, MINECRAFT and other stuff)
I rate myself at about a 2/10. It's usually possible to tell what I'm trying to depict, but you are almost awe-struck at how badly it is done.
I think it's amazing how artists are able to see the shapes and lines in things. I'm completely incapable of thinking like that. I can't take an image in my head and reduce it to lines and colors and what needs to be placed where and when.
No ****ing clue. Seriously, I don't have a long enough attention span to completely draw something I believe to be decent. Not that I draw bad, I've shown friends a rarely finished drawing, and they think it's great, I'm just terribly slow.

I don't draw like this all the time but when I do it doesn't turn out very good. A good example of my more cartoony style is the link in my sig... you'll have to wade through a couple bad stick drawings but the faces resemble the style I attempt most often.
Also it's hard to place myself on a scale because 7/10 seems mediocre but 8/10 seems too high and 7.5/10 is just stupid but I think i'm good at draw :Y this is hard
Post some examples if wanted.
I'll start.
3/10. I'm really not too good, but I can draw OK.
10 would be a Da Vinci emulator
5 would be the average person
That would put me somewhere in the 7 range. I have friends in the 8 and 9 ranges. They're bloody amazing artists.

Indeed there is. When I am not trying very hard, I am right about there.

7/10. I'm pretty damn good.
Things that have a basic skeletal structure, muscles and skin?
2/10. The suckness.

Neurological problems in my hands. Or something. Maybe it's these mittens.
