We are now opening our doors once again for our tactical PvP server. The idea behind the server is players form tribes of 3-5 players (there is no rule for how many can be in a tribe) and simply work together while trying to take out the other tribes. The community itself decides what they think should happen, what rivalries should occur, and just about everything else that doesn't fall into the section categorized as rules. We do not have many rules, but the rules that we do have are strictly enforced. These are:
Rule #1: No destroying structures of players who are offline. If your structure happens to be in a battlezone when you are offline, it may take damage which ignores this rule.
Rule #2: You must obtain all materials legitimately.
Rule #3: No use of exploits to gain an unfair advantage.
Rule #4: Spawn camping is strictly prohibited.
Rule #5: The starting area is a protected area. It is the only place on the map that is protected and PvP is prohibited.
Rule #6: No abuse and mass use of lava or fire, especially on mountains.
Rule #7: TOTEM:
-> All active tribes must have a main base, that is marked by an unique totem.
-> Every tribe totem must be within a 50 block radius of your base, and be a minimum of 10 blocks high.
-> A sign must be placed 3 blocks high on all totems in the following format: (tribe name)'s Totem
-> You can have multiple totems.
-> A totem is essentially a base marker, anything within 100 blocks of that totem cannot be griefed. If you do not have a totem, do not expect your base to be safe.
We are currently working on expanding with mods and plugins to make the Tribe Wars experience a more unique one. I am consistently looking for ideas from the players themselves because even though I run the server, in the end it's the community's. This is not a large scale server, we are a small community (20 slot, we generally don't hit the cap either) and plan to keep it that way. I simply feel that a small server is not only easier to manage and keep clean and orderly, but it's also just more fun to build deep rooted friendships and enemies.
