Guys, I believe the RP should be planned out. The RP is becoming a bit random, and it's becoming uninteresting unfortunately. The staff needs to plan more, as if they were "dungeon masters". If we just let everyone sort of be with a general idea roaming around, the RP somewhat becomes rather lacking. I'm just saying, I want to try to be patient and consistent, but the RP needs to be more interesting and in depth. It needs to go with the "flow" more, and not be made on an instant decision. Perhaps the staff can plan a few days ahead and plot out the RP and how decisions will affect it, like again, a "dungeon master".
It's just a suggestion, some seem to like the RP at the moment, others don't.
uh they do. where were you during the ghast attack? or the necromancer attack? honestly they have been planning. Were you at the tournament today? there were quite a few things planned out. the main thing right now is the war with necromancers

Fair enough. I feel as if it isn't great though. I'm not discrediting their work, I'm just saying, it should grasp all of the players on the server, not just the lucky few who get to seem important.
Who knows, maybe its the players themselves who are affecting me. I gotta point a finger somewhere though, right?

Perhaps you should leave the college a little more? Whenever a there is an event, anybody nearby is welcome to join, so you just have to be at the right place at the right time I guess.Ever since you became Val'um's son, I haven't seen you as much.

I could, I could. Now that I think about, this server does have a more constructed major "goal" than most servers. Perhaps it's just how the players act or what they do that somewhat dissapoints me.

Unfortunately, there are those who will break the flow of RP to gain personal attention. That may account to the "random" RP, but to be honest, we hardly plan much out "together." I always have an RP idea in my head; I run it by a few who ought to know what happens before I eventually execute the idea. A few bumps may occur, but I always have the events done, even if there were a few snags in the path.

That's respectable. And it's true, there are people who want to attain attention and the such. Perhaps a small meeting should occur, so you guys can do your thing being sure of what will happen next. I'm just trying to point out the fact some people may come across.
Yes there are a few problems and I like the idea of a bit more planning like the tournament it was good but I did come in a bit early etc so a bit more planning would be nice but overall it isn't to bad though as I believe there have been quite a few posts some people aren't the best rpers and or are attention seekers but all rp servers are flawed
Aye, a RP server isn't a RP server if it doesn't have, like Raggamissile loves to call them, "buffoons". I am glad though that you've taken the time to listen and speak of your opinion on the subject, even though it seems somewhat.... "offending", I guess? You know what I mean.
I have to admit I try to get some attention (to no avail as I am completely worthless as a farmer in a battlefield) but that is everyone for RP that is mostly made up as it goes along (such as we're didn't plan out every scene line by line). If no one wanted attention there would be little fun in the events.
Example:
Guy runs up to the giant dragon valiantly attacking it with all his might just to smacked into the wall on the other side of the room.
Everyone (including man from narrative above) cowers in fear. The dragon shoots a single fire ball at the crowd and they all perish in flames.
Now tell me which one is more interesting to see in front of your eyes: The attention seeking warrior with good intent or the fear stricken crowd huddled in a corner?

Heh, you don't even want to get on at the moment. The server is jacked up. Once gamer fixes it though, it'll all be alright.
WHY?
