Welcome to the SnowyCraft thread! SnowyCraft is a new server run from USA, Virginia. The server is run on 8GB RAM with absolutely no lag, 24 hour uptime, and countless updates everyday. We strive to keep new things coming in and to get a well functioning server together. Running on MC 1.1, the server has many new game aspects of minecraft, including even more advanced ones found in the plugin CraftBook. Please come join us today for a great bunch of fun!

We run on Minecraft v1.1. We keep our server up to date with the current versions of Minecraft to ensure that everyone can connect and enjoy the new features Notch and Mojang bring to us in every new update.
24/7 Up-Time
We keep our server up and running all day all night. However, this can cause some problems because some countries have different time zones at which an OP may not be available online. If this is so, please inform us on the forums. Besides that, this is something that makes SnowyCraft alot more enjoyable.
Beautiful Custom Towns
We have over 10 custom towns that have been made by our builders and administrators. We towns range to many biomes including snowy, forest, and river like biomes. Each town is 100% custom so make sure to check them all out!
Hardcore PvP
PvP is enabled in every single region of our server that is considered the Wilderness. You will be informed when entering and exiting the wilderness. Make sure to be prepared for any sort of surprise attacks, you never know what may happen in the wilderness.
Intense Mob Arena
We have a fully custom, 100% enjoyable mob arena. Compete alone or with friends, and check your score on the scoreboard after your battles. Also, you will be awarded for your efforts in the Arena! The further you go, the better the rewards. Obviously!
Competitive Monster Hunts
You are able to participate in fun, fast paced Monster Hunts every other night. Hunt monsters and rack up points and try to beat your competitors. Winners receive set amounts of diamonds.
LWC Protection
We use the LWC protection plugin to ensure that everyone's stuff is safe and secure. LWC is the most secure protection plugin at the moment and will make playing the server a much more enjoyable experience.
Player Market
Need to buy or sell goods? Visit our player market which is based on the Chest Shop plugin. Our player market is fully custom, grief free, and a great place to make bank. Not sure how to use the player market? Visit it in-game and read the full interactive guide!
McMMO
For more unique and enjoyable combat, we use the McMMO plugin. This allows each and every player to train skills. As skills reach higher levels, you will unlock new abilities relevant to that skill. These skills also apply in PvP to make things more exciting.
Donator Ranks
For those who would like to help out the server, you will not go unrewarded. We have special ranks and permissions for set amount of USD donations. These ranks and permissions are permanent and give the player more advantages and opportunities throughout our server.
Factions
This is the main form of grief protection and the main form of forming groups. Team up with friends or strangers to build up huge protected kingdoms, or go to war with other factions to earn power. Claim land and exhibit your faction's power for everyone to see.
Enjoyable Economy
Our economy consists of a single currency which can be earned through jobs, or killing. Players are able to transition money to each other at their own leisure. Also, this money can be used to setup chest shops or buy from our custom marketplace. Also money can go towards your faction.
Anti-Grief Protection Efforts
We have many different methods to prevent griefing problems. We have many plugins that prevent the use of TNT and Lava and prevent monster explosion damage to blocks. Also we have LogBlock to log every single block places, destroyed, or changed. This includes the permissions for OPs to rollback specific players or areas to keep griefing efforts away.
Growing Community
Our community has been growing at a very fast pace. We're a fairly new server, and we strive to get the biggest flood of new members we can. As the community builds, so will the server, and we hope that the server is enjoyable to everyone who does decide to give it a go.
