If you're wondering how to replicate the gaming experience of the xbox 360, complete with bleeding eardrums from 13 year olds screaming in your ears and 16 year olds comparing their dicks sizes, but in minecraft, then this is the server for you. Granted the crappy microphone purchased by their parents is replaced by typing.
The PvP element is so mishandled that the server isn't about creating anything, but rather building tall walls, mining for diamond for equipment and killing mobs for iconomy money to "buy" peace. Basically, people kill you, take your items and then ask for money for your stuff back. Those new to the server aren't given time to get very far before the shakedowns begin. Some might call extortion griefing, but since nothing is actually considered griefing in the server, the "no griefing" sign on the server spawn rule board may as well be empty. which means berating new players with "fag" and "jew" and "you suck so much" is acceptable.
The server spawn rules claim "no glitching" but since this isn't enforced, the PvPers will use every glitch they can to hop over "enemy" walls (like stacking cactus past 4, or placing sand on signs to climb in protected areas). Also, teleporting to escape a losing fight or leaving the server is common, as is using the server lag and the towny mod's slow reaction time to place a forbidden ladder to glitch up a wall before it disappears.
The server could be a great place with creative towns, but instead devolves into angry teens yelling about needing more space and berating new players until they leave, followed by laughs and high fives as the "fags" and "jews" leave the server. It could be an interesting PvP experience, where balanced teams are given equal ground and time to decide how to fight the enemy in an upcoming war, but instead is like logging into an unbalanced FPS server with all 12 clan members on one side, and 6 random pub users on the other. Real PvP games are balanced, ban cheater, keep score and have a GG from both sides at the end... not catcalls as people quit and don't come back.
