Heh, this looks fun. :smile.gif: I was starting to get bored of Minecraft, too, since I had nothing to do...
...started out well. I managed to knock four saplings from the tree and moved a piece of dirt to the sides of the island, to space out the growing trees. From the three blocks of wood I made a pickax and a sword. Dug out a home below the remaining earth block and found coal! So I made some torches and lit up my world.
Theeeennn, I tried making a fence of cacti around my home and hurt myself. xD So then I made a gamble and created a hoe, but got absolutely no seeds from the grass. Spent the rest of the evening stomping on the tilled earth so it would die and grass would grow again. ;___;
So lonely here. Not used to having nothing on my horizon. I miss mountains.
And ZOMBIES. I hear ZOMBIES.
I've been looking for something to do on minecraft for a while, so decided to give this a go.
Day One - I started pretty badly, only got one sappling from the tree. I then got a crafting table and dug out a mineshaft. Then things went uphill as I ran into gravel and coal. I planted cacti around the island and then built myself a small shelter out of sand, gravel and cobblestone. I moved my crafting table inside, put up some torches and ran out of wood. I planted cacti all around the house. After this I began to extend the top of my shelter. The night fell and 7 creepers spawned on the island. They were stupid enough to jump into the cacti around my house. That = . Not doing too bad atm, only suffering from a current wood crisis but other then that i'm good to go.
