Autism is associated with obsessiveness. I have a friend with a very minor case of autism, and he goes over the same things over and over and over and over. If he writes an essay, he'll read it 10 times and think about it all day.
I've seen OCD associated with minecraft more then autism. Although there are various forms of autism.

Yes. That is true. And many people with autism, are obsessive.
That doesn't change the fact that you described your friend's situation incorrectly. It is your friend's compulsive disorder that causes him to do things over and over. While it may be common for autistic people to be compulsive they aren't the same thing.

Asperger's Syndrome is a form of Autism that is characterised by repetitive behavior (among other things), that's why the clowns at ED associate Minecraft and autism.
And Asperger's Syndrome is usually self-diagnosed by confused teenagers just looking for an excuse for their asshole-like personality. Asperger's Syndrome is "related" to autism, but autism is diagnosed by actual pediatricians at a young age (usually 3-5 years of age). Not to mention it's presumed that ACTUAL autism is caused by a genetic defect. And genetics are written in stone at childbirth.

And you're an ass. I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome by an "actual pediatrician at a young age", when I was three and a half years old. I was born three and a half months early. As I wasn't fully developed, I had many developmental disorders, and my Asperger's was amplified by that.
TL;DR: Only assholes think Asperger's Syndrome is fake.

Yeah, I lol'd because my cousin was diagnosed with ASD by a pediatrician. It's even named after a pediatrician that specialised in study autism. He also wrote peer reviewed papers on the subject.

It's really not, it's essentially extremely high functioning autism. I read an article somewhere about them actually reclassifying the entire syndrome into the scope of autism.
Although I've never been officially diagnosed, my psychiatrist says I probably have a very minor case of Asperger's. I don't mind really, my accompanying OCD and fixation helps me keep everything organized. I was initially drawn into MC by its vastly limitless possibilites because I knew I could be drawn into it and have a good time for quite a while-- all with perfect 90 degree angles!

Also, my brother has Aspergers, diagnosed by Tony Atwood.

no is not, it is characterized by the lack of social skills and great memory skills
I have kid in my class who has asburgers and he has this weird problem where he has to point out every problem with everything everyone says, however if someone points out a problem with his statement he flips.
Whoa.

No, if you had Asperger's you would be able to spell it.
