I'm frustrated of leather armor being so useless because it becomes nearly destroyed if I trek down a tall mountain. Falling from four blocks high shouldn't necessarily hurt your armor...
I as very off put at finding out this was the case. I stopped wearing armor unless I knew I was going to get into some bad stuff. I understand though that this has been the case for longer than I have been playing, so I'm not going to say it has to be changed... but I would rejoice in the change.
Armor for the feet should be the only piece that takes damage, while also lowering actual damage if you were to fall with feet armor equipped. If you have no feet armor when you fall, then the rest of your armor should take damage while you take full real damage for that respective fall.
I too get annoyed that all your armor takes damage when you fall, well, that's what I assumed.
Can somebody give me some advice here? Does armor reduce the fall damage you take? If it does, then it should take fall damage.
Also, saying that only boots should take damage is assuming that your dude always lands on his feet. I mean, he "does" because of the way that the game is limited, but nobody in the real world falls too far and hurts only their feet.
Oh, and Minecraft isn't about making sense or not. Some stuff makes sense, some doesn't. It's its own game, it doesn't need to care about what makes "sense."
What do you guys think?

It doesn't make any sense that my hat gets hurt when I fall a few blocks.
In that case then when we start a game it should get automatically deleted?
Cause that makes no sense at all. I freakin' hate that excuse. 'MINECRAFT DUESNT MAKE CENTS DEEL WIT IT L0L0L0L0L!!!!"

It's still frustrating to see my leather armor wither away from a four block fall.
