it's kinda impressive that there are old and young people, who share the same interests, isnt it? its something like a bridge over the generation-canyon :tongue.gif:
Indeed. At your age, gaming was experiencing a huge boom. In the 80s, the Commodore 64 and ZX Spectrum popularized video games perhaps more than previous 20 years of consoles. In just 3 years, there were more gamers in the world than probably in the last 20 years put together. It was really impressive. That's what introduced my generation to gaming; the 80s commodore 64 and zx spectrum when we were about your age.
Spot on. 34 and started with the C64.
Have two kids that play as well, 11 and 8.
My dad was an electrical engineer back in the 80's and he loved the game systems. My first system was the Celeco Vision when I was about..4? (1984), then the Atari.. Then the Commadore 64 when I was a little older and finally the Nintendo Entertainment System. (I'm 30, as mentioned before.)

A lot of people on the internet see me as more mature then most other 11 year olds... so I guess I am then.
I have a younger brother who I'm not revealing who's exactly like this.
He has an IQ of 135 (5 less then mine :3), loves Minecraft, uses perfect grammar and even helps me out with coding my free-time expiriments. :ohmy.gif:
Lol I don't understand why people say they are

GENERATION 21: The first time you see this, copy it into your sig on any forum and add 1 to the generation. Social experiment.
Gotta agree with Karionfabe, if you're young then ENJOY IT. Being mature while being young is no way to live, it's the best time to make mistakes and learn from them. Stop worrying about other people perceiving you as immature. :smile.gif:

16.
Besides, being too 'mature' all the time is boring. But it's all about compromise, eh? And you have to love how this game just bridges the age gap. From 12 or so all the way to 30.
(Providing, of course, no one is being a jerkass.)

I'd say that it's almost impossible to learn without making mistakes. You have to learn for yourself why certain behaviors are bad for you and why others aren't. For instance, I never made my bed as a kid, and it wasn't until recently that when I started making my bed consistently every morning, I was unbelievably less depressed during the day. Clutter ****s up my mind, had to learn the hard way. Sometimes it's easy to take somebody else's advice, but other times, you've really got to learn for yourself, or it'll never work.

In the beginning, Notch created the Nether and the Earth, and in it he made a man of sand and called him Steve. Notch made Steve strong so that he may punch wood, and lo, Steve was to have dominion over all square things.

I use to make my bed until i got married and now my wife does it for me. In college my room mate never made his bed, I always kicked his crap (dirty laundry, paper, books) over to his side of the room. I never understood how he never had trouble finding his homework in a pile of mess, when my homework was organized in my backpack but I never could find what I was looking for....
Over time I learned that being organized is a bad behavior for me. I get OCD and take more time than I should trying to make things perfect. I had to let my room mates behaviors rub off on me. It was hard but now I live in a "mess" and life is a lot easier.

Check the first page, max range in here is 11 - 65. I'm already 9 years out of your range. :biggrin.gif: Your little brother AND your gramma are playing! And yes, jerkasses know no age boundaries. Some folks don't get the difference between staying young and being childish.

Every time I come to these forums, I think more and more that I'm the only person who plays Minecraft normally.
Every time I come to these forums, I think more and more that there is no such thing as playing Minecraft normally.
I vote to unban him, even if he was intentionally being a butthead.
I'm happy to leave the issue aside. I doubt he'd perpetuate it at this point.
Generally, Forum =/= Democracy. Moderators have the last word. Not to mention you're not involved in the ban. He did something stupid, so he'll have to wait a week to post again.
Just my $0,02.
Did I mention I'm 19, yet?
Actually all the guy did was say that he didn't think saying God damn was necessary in Zahn's post. Then Zahn started the epicly huge debate on the subject. If the thread was taken off track, it was due to Zahn. I think he should stay banned though for continuing on with the subject, but I also think Zahn and EtherImp should be as well. The judgment was a little bias IMO.
The ban was not for the discussion, but his language to a mod, along with ignoring a warning. If any of the people involved in the discussion had replied like that, they'd have gotten a weeklong ban.
That may be true, although she seemed biased to Peter.

Zahn and Ether Imp, please stop provoking him.
Peter, shut the **** up.
Any further comment on the issue in this thread will be met with a weeklong ban. Take the politics somewhere else.
As you can see she treated Peter a little differently on the subject than the other two. I have nothing against the ban, I just get upset to see some people treated differently than others who were doing the same thing.

Your avatar is epic. I just have to get that out.

That DP is epic, I Lol'd, people looked at me like I was weird (Im in a libary)
Also Im 21, but I think this should be a poll to be more accurate (and to save us reading 13 pages to get a general idea of the average age)....
I do feel like the majority of users here are mid to low teens, just a general feeling from a lot of the posts around....
@PJ_Games not to be rude but your avatar looks a bit like a penis.
