Since it's a beach you need a sand castle right? So I made one. Nothing fancy though, but it's something. Oh, and from now on I'll call this island Beach Bowl Galaxy, and my project will be named Super Minecraft Galaxy. =D
This might sound really stupid, but how do you get water to flow from the top of the island? I thought it only came out in certain spots and wouldn't flow up.

I've also been searching the forums for someone to explain how you use a bucket, I try rightclicking the water/lava with it, I've tried throwing the bucket in the water. I just can't get it

Ok, so:
[*:2jk3cryi]It's called "lava" when above the ground.
[*:2jk3cryi]It's called "magma" when in the ground.
[*:2jk3cryi]When it flows off the bottom of the ground, it's called... ?
My progress on the mountain island was hindered due to lack of diamonds and coal, but after some spelunking I managed to refill my stash. I did however create a minecart track to Beach Bowl Galaxy™, and improved the bridges with some stairs. Oh, and the mountain island's ground is complete, just need to create a mountain now. =)
EDIT: Credits to Quchen for his thread about making spheres.
Download save (Main, forest and beach islands.)
EDIT: Fixed image size.
btw, its awesome
One word:
Bucket
you have to right click standing water
With a creeper spawner on top!
This is the floating Kingdom of Zeal as it appears in Chrono Trigger.
It's not that one method is better than the other, it just fits my sensibilities to build from scratch.
Excellent job!
