I have a fail that can beat every one of yours. Not only is this a fail, this is a bug, glitch or w/e.
So i was exploring around as a noob, first save file in minecraft, i had full leather armor (lol), a bunch of stone items, and 10 iron bars. I rarely found iron ingots, so when i found a clump of them, about 5 i mined all of the iron, and had a idea. I got as many picks and shovels as possible, and dug down, deeper and deeper. After digging for 3 minutes strait strait down with my stone pic axes, i lit a torch. What i saw i couldnt believe. I'd hit the jackpot, i was completely surrounded by redstone, diamond, gold, and iron. There was so much, I made a little base down there and planed to stay there for a couple of hours. I mined and mined, until i had over 450 and redstone , but i wanted more. I dug down, deeper, i got about 3 blocks until i hit bedrock (admin stone, w/e u wanna call it, its the indestructible block ) Disappointed, i dug everything around me, i found a couple more of each ore, but that was it. Then I found a single diamond block under me. I stood directly on top of it, mined with my diamond pic axe, and do you know what happened? DO U FRIGGIN KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!!!???
There was no block under it, no admin block, no dirt, nothing. I fell under the map in a sea of blue for about 10 seconds, and suddenly died, all my ore i had, was gone.
THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED, IM NOT PLAYING MINECRAFT ANYMORE UNTIL BETA BECAUSE OF THIS
on my main map, i have a castle that, in order to enter it, you must swim under. brilliant plan, i know, mobs can'tswim under things. i neglected to make torches in a dark place where you half to enter the actual building from out of the water. so, two spawned at the time i was exiting to find some wool. i see one, not the other, and kill it from a distance. when i start to swim under, ssssssss, "oh f***" *boom*. bugger took out a fair chunk of my wall T_T.
i had a bucket of lava in my hand and i right clicked to open my wooden door to my wooden house that was 3 floors high then after the lava killed me and i spawned halfway across the map lets just say i use stone now
.... My cool new wooden floor and my farm basement felt your pain. Took hours to rebuild.

i kept hearing the same damned zombies.. tons of them.. more and more. must be a dungeon. eventually i get pissed and break rule number 1, never mine straight down. well i found the zombies. wasnt a dungeon, but my game managed to spawn 20 zombies, 3 skellies and 2 creepers in a small space, and i fell right into it.
but, sensing my impending doom and inability to ever get back there alive.. i let loose my lava bucket
So, I have this huge open mine, right? Almost down to bedrock, it is. So, I was just walking around, killing pigs for food. I don't notice I'm near my house, and my open mine is right in front of my house. Guess what happens.
Yes, I fall all the way to the bottom and die. Thank god it's near my spawn. I am so stupid.
Played few days,
i had a nice small wooden home :tongue.gif:
with a big wooden space on 1 side
i chopped the tree and as ussualy i burned my leaves down
but uhm the leaves where to close to my home so 9/10 was burned down
i used as many water as i could find, cause i had a wooden water side at my house to,
now i found out cobbelestone is good to protect it.
But still if you are going to make a high tower in water you will lose cobble stone, i thought i had enough ( arround 12x64 cobblestone) but in 1 hour i had 0 ,,,

Right clicked my minecart trying to ride it up, while I had a bucket of lava. I lost like, 10 tracks, a couple torches, but not much else, but BOY was I pissed. D:
