A slightly-altered monument has been installed in the deep north of minecraft!
FYI, for some strange reason, the pig jumped off the cliff right after taking the screenshot and editing it.
I feel that it's an effect from Thomas' ghost D:
I once had this pet pig. I guess he wasn't my pet. I think a pet has to love you back. I kept this pig in my house, I named him Jasper. I really loved him, I really did. He had the sweetest little eyes. I would stay huddled with him during the night. It made me feel safe, even if he kept trying to run. To hide. He hated me. He wanted to be free, but I just couldn't imagine life without him. I was selfish so I just... well, I just kept him there. But one day, I wanted to leave the house, at night. I was feeling reckless. I was daring, I was a bit crazy. So I burrowed through my humble home, out to the other side. Before I know it, I'm getting swarmed by creepers. Creepers to the left, creepers to the right, Hell, I thought I saw some above. All in my little cabin. So what could I do? I ran. I ran and made a little hut, hopefully enough to keep the monsters at bay. Just a few more minutes, I thought, the sun is almost up, I thought. I should have been thinking about sweet little Jasper. I'm sure he suffered. I'm sure he bled until his veins ran dry. When the sun struck my sweating head, I ran to Jasper's house. I looked in his pen. There was no pig. All I saw was torn flesh. Ripped from the body of an innocent swine.
So what did I do? I burned my ****ing house to the ground. I set it on fire and watched as the labors of a selfish, cowardly man crumbled. It felt good. Jasper would have wanted his prison gone. I just wish he could have seen it.

If someone makes a large castle/building/whatever completely out of flammable materials they DESERVE to be killed, robbed, or "griefed".
Thomas the sheep. The first ever minecraft religion.
Seriously, since reading this, I created a sheep statue in my world (screenshot is earlier in this thread) and now i've seen almost 20 sheep statues posted by various people on the forum.
I just killed a sheep for wool, and when I did, the world started stuttering and the sheep audio got all weird.
I thought this was a crash, and the sheep audio started looping. Then minecraft crashed. I went back to my world to find nothing there, and regenerated a new world, a bit peeved. Then when the new world started up, I woke up on a desert island (like the ones in cartoons) with just a cactus beside me..
I feel a bit freaked and don't really want to play on that world anymore. Is this punishment for my sins?

I made a shrine, sacrificed a pig on it, exploded it then made the same trap that killed Thomas and sacrificed myself in it, i think i paid my dues to him RIP Thomas .
It may be jumping on the Thomas bandwagon, but for the longest time I've been meannig to build shrines and temples, but never have had any idea about what to dedicate them too. Now thanks to this I have a tiny wool shrine overlooking my railroad, and soon to be town in which I shall make sacrifices of pork, wool, saplings, and flowers whenever I have a bad omen (namely hearing ambient cave sounds when I am not in fact in a cave)
This is the Minecrafters' religion; Tomism. Lol...
I'm gonna build a shrine in the morning. =D
NO. IT IS NOT. THE MINECRAFTERS' RELIGION IS NOTCHISM. PREPARE TO BE CREEPER'D.(or sheep'd off a cliff. Notch and I (and probably others too) would think it funnier. )

Tomism and Notchism are not mutually exclusive. It's the same as a difference between Protestant and Presbyterian.

I suppose I could throw a shrine in my world.

NEVER FORGET
Thomas! You fierce, woolly *******! Watch over my mines!
Here is the view from the cliff it was built on.
You can see my whole kingdom!
