i think its stupid fully contained lava can burst things into fire.... Also the fire's spread rate is perfect, but god it destroys blocks wayyy to fast.

You can go ahead and move at the speed of light, But i will move at the speed of darkness.
Cobblestone generators? Decoration? For destroying unwanted items? As traps? To make obsidian?
There is nothing in this world manlier than a lava fountain.
This.
Also, my floor is made of lava. Glass over lava is the manliest floor in the world.
Secondly, lava traps will be awesome to the point of maybe being overpowered when we get floodgates.

The inquisitors were torturing Harry.
First, Ignatius used the rock.
Then Billy asked Harry if he wanted to read his BDSM blog. Harry was so surprised that his pants flew right off. He was wearing women's underpants. The inquisitors were wearing them, too.

No, the manliest floor in the world is a lava without the glass over it. Its soft, warm, and manly.
Back on topic, my base didn't burn, but one of my hunting lodges/ spas did. Turns out a wooden hot-tub with a lava-core heat generator isn't such a good idea after all.
Yea I lost all the wooden bridges that were over top my lava moat. They weren't touching, but were withing two or three blocks. I am rebuilding them with cobble and smooth stones. Also, my cobblestone factory went frickin crazy. But all is fine and I like that lava is very dangerous.
I didn't realize people built most of their bases out of wood with lava everywhere. I always imagined a base and being a stone fortress. It's understandable if your Summer Cottage burst into flames because you put lava in the fireplace, but makeing a base out of mostly wood doesnt make sense to me.

MOD EDIT: Saying this is unnecessary and rude. If people are willing to discuss it, let them discuss it. There's a whole wide world of other topics you could explore and contribute to that you might even be interested in! How exciting!

WHAT THE DERP? Manly is cold mean and deadly.
Sure, but a lava floor is soft (you sink into it) warm (it burns you alive) and manly.
