>* Lava now sets stuff on fire
>There is a lava fountain in my house
>OH GOD NO PLEASE NOTCH NO **** NO WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT OH GOD WHY
You could just had removed the lava with an editor, but congratz on playing the game like a real player.
Lava now became the perfect griefing tool on multiplayer, i think lava now should only be transported in diamond buckets
Lol, I think somewhere it warns people not to be attached to their save files, I think this qualifies in that warning. I almost lost my forge, but I was quick enouge to stop the spread.
I had a cobblestone fireplace... er, lavaplace. I made sure there was NO WOOD touching the lava. But hey, guess what! Apparently lava can burn stuff that it isn't even touching! So my house went up in smoke. Thankfully I was able to run in and save my chest of diamond and gold ore.
Wait... so there are people who weren't using stone to contain lava? Seriously?
So people had wooden constructs for lava? Why? Stone is so much easier to obtain, not to mention that I wouldn't even consider trying wood because I figured this feature was already in game anyway.
I'm really confused how so many people are being screwed by this - certain cases sure I get it, but widespread? Seems odd to me. Do the little lava flareups (the lil spark flying thingies) ignite stuff? I assumed no.

It is because this will still make your house burn:

Tis far better to be a witty fool than a foolish wit.

I KNOW RIGHT?
Wood is harder to find than stone, and stone looks better to use with lava since IRL lava would go right through wood. :tongue.gif:

This explains a great deal.

The inquisitors were torturing Harry.
First, Ignatius used the rock.
Then Billy asked Harry if he wanted to read his BDSM blog. Harry was so surprised that his pants flew right off. He was wearing women's underpants. The inquisitors were wearing them, too.

R.I.P: My house.
Don't be so full of yourself; There are a few others who have sighed a breath of relief for their own precautions. :tongue.gif:
OP- At least you can rebuild and make your base even more badass than the last?
