I am taking charge here and making a system myself that doesn't imply notch doing anythang script wize when multiplayer indev comes out. Although I would like maby turning gold into gold coins since gold really is weak for everythang else exept trade. This is how it will work, i will make underground storage areas that will hold minerals and stuff of that nature. The way it will work is, if someone wants to trade, I will take anythang thay want to contribute, and storage it like a bank, giving the customer "credits" and writing thare name on a notepad. Hear me out for its not just that simple. Thare valuables are worth 100% of the credit gained by selling it to me. The catch comes here. Not only does that player earn credit from that server, but, and other server I visit in /indev/, that player can purchase from me anythang I have for sell by using thare "credits". I am legit and will spend time planning this out better. If anyone has any idea's for contribution, just tell me and I will go over it.

I pre-purchased Minecraft in July of 2009. One of the better purchases I've made in recent history.
He's basically proposing he'll act as a bank, on multiple servers. Give him resources he gives you credit.
That doesn't seem to be a very good idea to me. I don't think server owners are going to want people to be farming resources on a peaceful server and having them transferred over to their extra-hardcore-difficulty maps.
Plus this wouldn't be feasible without a ton of players willing to devote their time to it or some form inter-server scripting. The latter won't happen with official (non-custom) servers ever, I don't think.

Well I thought it out already on how it would be. It's possible. Interserver wize, its possible if the players can give the server time to actually grow a little. What I had in mind is i could use blocks contributed by other players, to sell to other players for thare credits thay earned.

-A man named One, gives me a diamond worth alot of credits, but only because diamonds are rare, but, alot of wood is needed for him to construct his how or build more tools and he finds it more efficient.
-A man named Two gives me around five hundred wood, which is the easiest thang in any server to obtain, but, in huge quantity is valuable. The man needs diamonds to make strong armor because its hard to survive or something of that sort.
-I am the median that binds these two mens fate :biggrin.gif: for you see, I now have what both them want, and thay both have enoughf "credits" to exchange, so, man one gets his 500 wood or however many he needed, while man two gets his diamonds.
Here is what I get out of it. Say I put alot of boxes and thangs people need in my system. I will give myself credits as I would anyone else, to throw them in my own system. Say I want a diamond someone put in and I have enoughf credits for it. I will wait about an hour, holding the diamond before I actually trade it to myself for what I put in my system.
If I cheat my own system, the value of other players credits will go down and I don't wan't that.
Making Credits Worth Value
To back up the value of credits, I will willingly put my own minerals into the system and get nothing out of it. This will make credits more valuable and hopefully it will jump start my system. I read nautiloid nudination, but, it is flawed. He does not plan on backing up the value of his credits with wood and other thangs. Simply put, credits would be worth nothing to other players unless you backed up what thare worth by having a supply of your own to start with. Here is how it works. Say I have alot of gold or maby diamonds, alot of wood, ground, maby sand or glass. Because the recent creation of the furnace, this can help my system alittle, but, if I am well stocked enoughf, all I have to do is set a price and if I have anythang anyone wants, thay sell me thare goods for credits, and buy from me something thay need in my stock.
