I have created a server status page for all servers Minecraft.
This page currently has both new Survival mode and classic multiplayer type servers, and has Uptime statistics along with updating status images. There is also a ping feature to measure ping from my webserver to the server being pinged, however this only works if the network allows the ping to succeed and return. For server owners, there is the ever-important feature of being able to EDIT your server information. As part of that, you also have the option to delete the entry should you every decide to, you you don't need to worry even if you decide to make your server private. You can just edit it and make it a private listing(see below).
[*:m4ih9962]Style 1 for stat images fixed to not say Port: port: <PORT>(now correctly has Port: <PORT>)
[*:m4ih9962]If a server is removed because of low uptime, the stat image now says "Server either doesn't exist or got deleted for low uptime"
[*:m4ih9962]nav bar has been fixed to hold pages/filters when viewing a server to make it easier to navigate/get back to where you were
[*:m4ih9962]nav bar filters(Survival, online, classic, etc) have had a Javascript addition to apply on change, instead of clicking "Go"
[*:m4ih9962]An off by one has been fixed that made removal of servers below 5% uptime happen to late
[*:m4ih9962]Added/fixed popup to give IP:PORT of survival servers, clicking classic servers to go to their URL hasn't changed
[*:m4ih9962]Added a "comments" table to the database for future implementation of a user comment/rating feature
[*:m4ih9962]Fixed a bug that made it impossible to log in again after editing server info once because it would mess up the password
[*:m4ih9962]BY POPULAR REQUEST: Added a "hidden"/private server listing. This means it is not displayed in the public list and the information/stat image does not display the IP and port. There is the issue that if you loose your ID/link, you're either left guessing or you need to contact me to get it back since it isn't listed
[*:m4ih9962]Added views column to the server table to track how many views any given server gets
[*:m4ih9962]Added a list sorting feature(Sort by name, uptime percentage, total uptime, views, date added)
[*:m4ih9962]Added help (?) images to each field on the add and edit server pages that explain said field on hover over
[*:m4ih9962]Fixed that the play now button and on classic servers the server URL was show on even private listings
[*:m4ih9962]Fixed a bug that caused any new servers to be added as private
[*:m4ih9962]Private server listings no longer hide the server from the list. It still hides all connection fields like IP, port, and URL, but lets your server be discovered so people can go to your forum/site/thread and apply for admittance. This also lets you find your server again after it is submitted in case you lose the link
Example private listing:
Feature Spotlight:
Private server listing now available!
This new feature will allow you to add your server to our database but keep it safe from the trolls by not displaying and sensitive information publicly. This allows you to keep it unlisted and to hide the IP and port of your server while still allowing you to link your users to the page to see your servers information or website, and lets you use our auto-updating status images to keep your users up-to-date on the uptime of your server. Being able to show who you want that the server is online while still keeping a server private lets your users see it is up and keep them more active, and keeps those pesky trolls away!
Add your server now, or just browse for a great server to play!

Thanks, though that list has now been repaired, though I think the two can coexist.
I notice that all "IP list" threads are being locked but before you(Mr. Admin sir) lock this thread, please note that this script is a very different status list with a very different and useful feature set, namely stats about uptime [percentage] and updating images that show status/stats. There is also a reasonable editing feature in my script. I believe the two lists can coexist peacefully together and I do see this as a more fully-featured list. Also think of the amount of time and effort I put in to making this for everyone to use. Please, think about it before locking this and know that I will just see you as a closed, uncompetitive forum if you close this just because there is another, very different list already in existence. If you would like to talk to me about it first or possibly about getting some features ported, please PM me.

My script has different features, and is more detailed as opposed to the conciseness of the official list. My point is they are different lists with different features for different reasons. I doubt you even bothered to look at it. It also just provides another avenue for you to publicize your server.

There was a bug with my checking if a private listing that cause all servers to be added as "private". If you've added your server since this update and don't want it to be private, you should now be able to edit it and make it not private, or post here and tell me.

Another update that concerns anyone who would want a private listing: Private listing of a server no longer excludes it from the server list. Your server is still perfectly private as no IP or port is given for it(or if it is classic, the url is hidden), but this allows your server to still be discovered and you can direct potential users to a forum or elsewhere to apply for admittance.
EDIT: Also fixed that the main list showed IP and port, although the number of people that actually would look for the IP and port and go into your server without going to the next one and seeing that it is hidden is likely roughly 0. Sorry

Hm, you'd think with the masses that have posted their server on the official list and this one people wouldn't post so many topics here. There's no real "survival multiplayer discussion" ever, it's all just server lists.
This list is absolutely brilliant! however I have two requests which I hope can be taken under consideration:
Several of the forums I frequent does not support using [IMG] tags on pictures without a proper ending (.png, .jpg etc) because of security reasons. As a result, images with a .php?id= ending gives me a bbdoce validation error when I try to use them in my threads/posts/signatures.
Also, it would be great to be able to use custom themes. I imagine an implementation where we could upload our own 300x75 pixel png that would then be used as our custom background.
I like the suggestions and after a quick look at mod_revrite, it seems useful and interesting so I will keep looking into it. As for the custom themes option, the issue is that themes don't only change background image, but also location of text(even the actual text being printed), font/color, and the uptime percentage image/location(if it has one). I suppose a configurable style creator could be done without being too complicated but I do not exactly have the time to invest in that right now, but I will get back to you.

Also, it seems the php ping is unreliable and it might require a hostname, not ip or a webserver to be open at that IP--not sure still looking around.

Would it be possible to make it so that the url could be something like http://minecraft.abyssal-legion.com/ser ... ething.png or similar instead? This could perhaps be done by using "mod_revrite" ?
