Hey there! On both Hamachi and on a VPS, it appears I and my friends are encountering rather ridiculous amounts of lag. On my Hamachi, my friend VasenDK connects fine, though 1-2 sec lag. However my friend Razmataz has huge amounts of lag, approximately 45 seconds until he saw it.
Thing is, when he wrote chat, we saw it instantaneously, but he only saw it like almost a minute later. When our VPS was up, Razmataz and Vasen could connect fine, however this time I was the one with nearly a minute's worth of time. And it really, barely if ever loads more than 3 chunks. I assume a chunk is like, 20 blocks in all directions, and all the blocks from top to bedrock.
This is my case, and while I move and they see me moving, however I don't see them. (They see me moving so long as I don't break anything law-wise. Like, jump from the chunk and then wait a few seconds as I tumble down towards the void, and then pull myself forward into a cave around 100 blocks below where I was.
I am connecting to the VPS, however without :25565. It -could- be indeed that this is the problem. The VPS does not have the port 25565 forwarded, therefore that might be a problem. However it is a wonder on how Razmataz and VasenDK are able to quite easily log in. I can direct them to this thread if you have any specific questions towards them, or myself.
