I've spent most of my day trying to set up a damned server on the Mac so that two of us here in this house can play together. The Mac would be the server, and the two of us would play on Windows computers.
At first I didn't know the router password (it's a Linksys WRT160N).
Then I had to reset the entire router because the firmware was messed up.
THEN, I couldn't figure out why the port forward settings weren't saving.
NOW, I finally have the port forward settings set up (Mineccraft, 25565, 25565, Both, 198.162.1.2, Enabled) and I STILL can't connect to the server because it times out (well, at least it doesn't refuse connection, right? =P).
What am I doing wrong?
EDIT: I should also note that the server never says anyone logged in. I've tried typing both the computer's IP and the gateway IP (or whatever the IP in the settings is called). Neither work. Always connection timed out.

Anyone have any idea what's wrong?
EDIT: Just did some reading. Is there an issue with Macs and SMP right now?
