Hey, I know there are other threads about this, but they go nowhere. I've been playing on a friend's server for the last few weeks and I've had a consistent error. After a few minuted world will stop updating, ie: I break blocks and they reappear, I cant read chat, other characters don't move. After a minute of that, I get kicked off the server with the error: Connection Lost Timed Out. Sometimes, i get the error: java.net.SocketExcpetion: Connection Reset. After I get these errors, my entire internet stops working. I have to unplug and replug in my Ethernet cable every time. The problem is now worse and I have seconds on the server at max. I've been troubleshooting for the last week. A consistent line appears in every error log:
This is the code for the exception that is being thrown every time i log on. Its the same one every time, but the reading address changes slightly every time. Also, I have java fully updated, update 21, but the logs say that I'm only using 17. If anyone has any helpful information it would be much appreciated.
Are you also receiving a pop-up saying that Java Binary SE has stopped working?
I was getting both those messages at the same time and I simply changed the rendering distance to normal and have since stopped failing out of the game.
