Its obvious that everyone has lost interest in helping me but i still require assistance. If there are any more possible solutions to my problem, please tell me
Try this: (assuming you have an Atheros, if you don't know if you do, try it anyway :tongue.gif:)
Click the following
Start Button -> Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Device Manager -> Network Adapters
Right Click the Atheros Card -> Properties -> Advanced
Select Transmit Buffers, and change the value from 256 to 512.
***Select Each of the things with "Checksum Offload" and disable them.
Click Okay
Run Minecraft

what does this do in laymens terms?
He's directing you click by click. It doesn't get much more simple than that.

...i want to know what it does, not how to do it...please l2read...
I have an atheros and i tried this fix, still cannot host or join any games. I can host games but no one can get in ( everyone thats tried). And i cant stay connected for more than a couple seconds.
I've noticed a lot of people are getting this error thats all I've been seeing latterly on the forums, however there is something which helped many people. (Counting me) What you need to do is you need to change your distance render onto either normal or short. May sound stupid or thinking it wont work, cause thats what I orginally thought but it actually worked. I've now been playing without having to re-join every 30 seconds due to a crash. Hopefully this will help you
ok try setting up port forwarding that fixed my problem of disconnecting
also any server that has mine cart tracks in it i disconnect after 30 seconds
but that is caused by the fact that the mine cart tracks are buggy in the first place
try my server if I'm online in the forums the server will be up
