I'm currently running Hmod 131 and just about all of the mods I think I might run, So I'm giving them a test now. I would also like to stress test the server as well, so Hopefully I can get about 10 people on to see how the server reacts.
Well, It's not so much for testing the new patch as the new server, I'm hoping to get one up permanently, probably eventually won't be using the default server, though.
I left the server running for a while to see if anyone could connect, and no one joined, which seems to say that nobody could, so I'm taking the server back offline in order to troubleshoot this.
Well, I'm glad I got the connecting part working, I'm going to disable the server for now and see if I can optimize a few things. I may end up starting it up tomorrow a little or in a few days.
Added Hey0 and some plugins, did general optimizing, and am ready to test the server again, I'll be bringing it back online in a few minutes, so feel free to stop by.
I heard that there was very little lag when the vanilla server was running (well, 1 person complained, but they were Australian) but that's really what I'm testing for now, so let me know what you think of the server here.
Server is up , and should be for a couple of days. It managed to crash last night but I think that was just because I had left it running for too long straight - easily avoidable. Hoping to get a bunch of people on to see just how the server reacts, But from what I've seen it should be fine.
I'll be bringing the server down for maintenance in a few hours, Hopefully I'll be able to fix the lag issue. I won't be making a new post, just updating the status in the original, so watch for that.
The lag issue seems like It should be fixed, but no guarantees. The server is up again and running Hey0 131 with a ton of mods, just to see their overall effect on the server - some may be removed in the future (If I pull iConomy, you'll be reimbursed unless I decide on a full reset.)
