anyway you can make the system have joint acesses? since me and my friend work on teh same project it would be useful for us to just have a resource pool instead of one for each of us.

I'm not quite sure what you mean, a shared inventory? No, that's not remotely close to possible. Keep in mind I can't change the game, only interact with the features in place.
i ment the diamond system as it is, shareing those resources, so more then one person can use them, that way a project group can have a pool of diamonds that can be used by anyone in the group so work can continue without the need for a particular person being on.

Well if you work with other people that's an easy fix - ask your friends to donate some diamonds to you. Other than that no I can't implement it because if you both have, say, 4 diamonds collectively only one of you should get set2 but both of you would be able to access it. I have no way to stop people from cheating this way
It really doesn't take long to gain enough diamonds for a set3! I'd say it's not even worth worrying about, especially with two of you actively searching for them.
Just out of curiosity, until inventory comes out, could you add a bucket that requires 3 diamonds to summon?
No. Many people don't seem to understand the strict vanilla gameplay I'm trying to foster here. I really don't like the diamond system as it is even and if it weren't for the common disconnects I'd abolish it. Buckets are very easy and feasible to get if you have a stockpile of items. Diamonds on the other hand, are not as they are far more rare and cannot be stored in block form as a raw ore unlike iron, stone, and wood tool materials.
I've decided to start removing the diamond system. I was going to wait until Notch released inventory server-side but it looks like that might take 3-4 weeks and in the meantime our server mods are outdated because of our dependence on the diamond system. For the next few days admins will be returning diamonds to players. After that I will remove the Czahrien server wrapper in lieu of a better server mod, likely hey0 or zicore's. If you login after I change the mod without diamonds returned then only I can return them to you upon request.
Also, about the policy:
While some think the "no eyesores" attitude limits what indidualism and we can build, I feel it encourages people to actually try harder on their builds, especially when you have to work for the materials you build with. Nobody would put in the time to hollow a mountain if the resources were going towards something they barely cared about :biggrin.gif:

You made me loose 6 diamonds x/
Well darn.
:ohmy.gif: sorry! This is necessary so we can keep the server up-to-date mod-wise. besides, you will LOVE some of the new features :biggrin.gif:

I suggested this because decrafting an iron block results in 9 blocks, 3 of which you must use to create a bucket. Thus, unless you have 3 more iron ingots (which would defeat the purpose of decrafting the block), you can't recreate the block and you loose 6 iron ingots. I suppose if you have the amount of iron that I have (>45 blocks), it really doesn't matter.
Once minecarts get fixed, I'm gonna pour the iron into the subway system I am making. Let's see... it takes 6 ingots to make 16 cart tracks, so if I have 45 blocks and each block produces 9 ingots, I can make a track...
1072 blocks long.
And I probably have somewhere around 60 blocks now, and I haven't been mining very much recently.
I'd like to join. I've been searching for a good, non-griefer server for a while now, and this seems like a good choice.
My in-game name is Aerocool. Thanks in advance.
~EDIT~ Nevermind. I found a good clan server.

I tried Real Life once. It had awesome graphics but the gameplay sucked..
The server had a power outage and for some reason it changed the spawn location. Everything else seems to be working fine though. I'm going to try to change the spawn and while doing so the server will be down temporarily.
Server should be back up and running with the spawn back to it's correct spot. Can't test however due to Minecraft.net being down. The server does not run in offline mode, which means if Minecraft.net is down, the server will be down.
Yes, but the server box is having a hard time connecting to the minecraft forums and minecraft.net if at all. Can you connect to other servers just fine?

Also I made a thread for the updated wrapper I will maintain: viewtopic.php?f=1012&t=28314

EDIT: Ohey, look, an SMP Servers section.
While you tried to connect yesterday evening (GMT) the server was nearly empty. So I guess you're not on the whitelist (yet).
External server browser: Created by me, made for you.Not working atm, and will not get updated in the near future, sorry.

Do I get an apply?
If I deserve one, give me one.
