Wow, I just checked the server and holy **** it really does seem like irrepairable (no it'd probably take a long time) griefing. I know you guys though and you'd never leave without a backup :biggrin.gif:
The hall was eventually going to get flooded anyway, and the mountains being grassed too. Also just as I entered, a guy noclipped into the map, which can show the more widespread use of hacked clients..
Anyways, I took the main server down and reloaded my last backup from 7:30 last night. So there's some work that will have to be redone unless Hunter comes around and sends me his last backup... which at least has the long grass done.
Making the server Private only slows the influx of people. With the link posted here, its still easy enough for people to get in. Besides, "private" isn't as private as you think. There have been times in the past where I was running a private server and suddenly have people join (and start greifing). So even setting the server to Private isn't a surefire way to keep people out.
