Kidslapper you don't need money to code something. They do it themselves. and stop being a 5 year old, just because you don't care about some of the updates doesn't mean others don't.

you mean all the money we pay them goes to charity?
Well I'm kinda upset when they changed the Villager population, but when I checked the village(I'm building a map:P) I saw this... So if they don't repopulate like this then that's ok.

I don't know what they use it on. But I guess he pays the people who work at mojang but he doesn't use half a billion of cash for an update! What I'm trying to say is for him to grow up and stop being a whiny spoiled brat.
Am I the only one that has Minecraft running out of memory all the time? I have tried allocating more memory, I am even running at around 150FPS constantly (compared to a 300 or so FPS in previous versions of the game however). Please don't tell me I'm the only one this is happening to...

Where's the Mod API that was promised? What happened to never having to access minecraft.jar ever again?
All I know is no one is asking how to install mods with the new system, and people are saying some 1.2.4 mods work in 1.2.5, because "class files haven't been changed". Which leads me to believe more accessing the .jar.
I haven't updated yet (still at 1.2.3). So can someone inform me?

I am also waiting for the API, but I didn't see/hear when it was coming out. I'm not sure exactly what it does, but all I can tell you is that 1.2.4 and 1.2.5 just really updated on bugs. :l Though 1.2.4 added some more blocks and such.
As a server owner and a plugin developer, I'm on the one hand tremendously relieved that we finally got a synchronized client and Bukkit update. At least this time, my server won't be empty for a week, its forums and my mailbox filled with "UPDATE THE SERVER" messages from people who assume I'm the problem.
But on the other hand, I still feel that lightweight updates like this one are ********. It's not like all server owners are sitting at their desks with their finger on the update button and eyes on Bukkit's download page. Even with a simultaneous release, every single update means at least a few hours of "server out of date" annoyance for players everywhere. I just don't see how tiny fixes like these warrant that impact (or even the impact of making players watch that admittedly short update progress bar).
And before you say "Well maybe if you didn't use Bukkit...", I'll tell you to go read a book. Vanilla server is a griefer's paradise, so the vast majority of public servers can't afford to run without it.
If this update included fixes for severe issues involving crashes and data loss, that would be something else. But it doesn't, so it's just an annoyance, in my opinion. It's like somebody keeps poking me in the ribs no matter how many times I insist they cut it out.
er, exactly what does this mean?

Nevertheless, this is really cool! Been waiting for the shift + click feature for the furnace for a while now!
