Plugman is an interesting plugin manager for any server admins who might be struggling with plugin management, particularly in real-time. For those not especially savvy in the back-end of servers, but would still like to host one for their friends and/or community, Plugman will seem like a gift from the Aether. What does it do, you ask? In short, it is a simple, easy to use Bukkit plugin that lets server admins enable, disable and reload plugins on the fly from either in-game or console. It has separate permissions for users to be able to get command usages and plugin info. Want to know more about this amazing plugin? Mob Farming - The Basics
Many Minecraft veterans will hear the term "mob farm" and have an immediate reaction - some love them, some hate them, others spend considerable amounts of time engineering complex and alarmingly high-yield mob farms. For anyone intimately familiar with the process, this video might seem redundant - but what about the everyday player who wants to learn more about them, and perhaps learn some easy tricks to build some? If this is you, look no further! Youtuber KaspersMC has drawn up a comprehensive video tutorial detailing, step-by-step, how to build a relatively simple and effective mob farm. Check it out!
Plugman was good about a year ago, nowadays it conflicts with a lot of stuff because of poor coding, and something like Spout doesn't like it at all. I wouldn't use it anymore, or reload either, I'd rather restart my server completely to prevent those memory leaks too.
Also, why are you linking to Curse's page instead of Bukkit? This article slightly disappointed me... It's only so late, or too late for this.
i love using mob grinders. i prefer to use a dark room spawner for single player and a dungeon grinder for multi player. once though, a spawner just dissapeared for reasons unknown. might have been trolled :(. they are a good way of getting drops.
Yo dawg, I heard you like plugins, so I made a plugin that manages plugins so you can plugin to your plugin.
But seriously, this plugman thing sounds really convenient.

Oh no how did this get here? I am not good with this computer
the water elevator mob grinder seems to be most effective, drop em 21 blocks and punch their feet or throw a splash potion of healing if they are zombies/skeletons
I would use CaptainSparklez way of making a mob farm since his mob farm doesn't involve finding a dungeon or getting a spawner.
His way is simply using the dark and fall damage.
Meh, I have 2 servers, and play on another. We all are just fine with essentials/groupmanager.
This plugin could be useful to those who don't understand how to use groupmanager though, it took me a while.
The way I got my permissions right(I have one bukkit/essentials server, and one vanilla, then the one I play on is bukkit/essentials too.) is I removed all the groups/permissions, Deleting "G:Bukkit_admin" etc, but keeping builder, default, admin, etc, then I added each and every permission as I wanted them.

The mobs will spawn in an 8x8 area and nothing else...
Incorrect, as this breaks Minecraft logic. Think. 8x8 area has a 2x2 center, but the mob spawner is 1x1--therefore it must have an odd spawn radius.
I think. I'm almost certain. The wiki says 8x8, but nonetheless unless it has halfblocks at the edges (in which case, the 9x9 room is STILL the correct approach as it accounts for the extra space) this would not work in accordance to Minecraft...
Anyways. I'm no great shakes at mob farming--I get scared out of my wits whenever I see a dungeon and I'm horrible at creating dark spots (A creeper always shows up before I can get out and destroys the place...) so I tend to just go hunting at night with a bow, which I think works just fine. I'm a sniper at heart, always have been always will be.
I also don't use bukkit, but hey mod managers are always nice. Plugman sounds cool!

Define Cute (choose 1): A) Creepers Aerbunnies C) Herobrine. If you chose A): You appeal to destruction and to stereotypes. If you chose B): You are a perfectly normal person, and enjoy the Aether Mod. If you chose C): Please leave the planet now before you set off a nuclear warhead--no one enjoys mass murders, however nice they might seem to you.
That's a neat grinder. I just took some time and overhauled my skeleton spawner using that design. It doesn't produce as many items as a drowning trap or as much XP an Endermen grinder but it's nice to have something close to my spawn that doesn't require visiting the End. Also it was kinda fun to build. MUCH more interesting that the' dark rooms in the sky I've been building in my survival flatland world.

Under no circumstances do I want villagers building ugly little houses in my world. That's my job. Link Removed

Nerd, geek, server admin, guy wearing a rainbow skin (with an office suit of epicness)? That's me.
WELL, ACTUALLY, NOT REALLY A WARDEN.
I'M DISAPPOINTING.

I said this. Two days later, my computer's motherboard melted down and I had to get a new one with Windows 8.
Irony in the first degree.
