I found a seed, which spawns you right beside a big village. Yes, there is blacksmith with a chest there, containing a diamond, and iron chestplate, and lots of food to start you out.

Not true... I used it and i spawned IN the village and there were 12 DIAMONDS in the chest+full iron armor+34 iron ingots. So idk if it's just random of what goes and spawns in the chest or you typed the seed in wrong.

big fat lie that is, i search through villager/village code all the time, there is no time that can happen! xD
I am using the seed with Minecraft Comes Alive Mod. I would try it out with MCA. The seed is really cool too. I went mining and came out with 7 diamonds.

Thats not possible the max diamonds is like 6 or 7 per chest and 34 iron ingots along with that?C'mon who are you kidding?

I believe its random, but it might just be a different update.
Given the same PCMC version and same seed the contents of chests will be identical from one creation of the world to the next.
So two people (or a thousand) can create a world on their local computers and be assured that what one reports as the contents of a chest will be found by all the others.

Ha ha, funny that you noticed. I did that to attract attention. Just a dirty little trick I do.
According to ADMIST, there is a stronghold east-ish of the village.
What is your variation of the seed?
